Ignore the problems that software isn't compatible with it, that isn't a problem with macs but with companies who develop the software. It is a much more efficient and less buggy operating system than microsoft, so why do lots of people here hate it so much?
I grew up not knowing anything but macs existing until the age of 6, when we got a laptop. |

| They cost about twice as much for the same hardware, like you said, no software, and personally I just don't like the way it's laid out. |

| They cost twice as much for the same hardware because of the operating system being much better technically made, so it doesn't crash every three seconds, bluescreen, and runs quickly. I wouldn't pay double as much for that though =/ |

"so it doesn't crash every three seconds, bluescreen, and runs quickly. "
My computer thus far (and it's been 2 years at least) has yet to blue screen or crash or slowdown terribly. (Except once, I had to do a system restore because my brother messed with the updater buttons and caused it not to install the SP1 correctly. Massive slowdowns) |

Apple is a greedy company.
They sell hardware for much more than the RRP.
The OS costs, what, £30? 4GB RAM costs, what, £300?> |

My computer had ~20 bluescreens in the first week of purchase, and none since.
I didn't know that the hardware was more expensive |

Experienced mac user quote (i.e. my dad):
"In six years I've only ever had 1 failure, and that was with the capacitor for a piece of hardware. Both hardware and OS are more robust, and never fail." |

"Then there's something wrong with your computer. I don't remember experiencing a bsod with this computer."
Admittedly about half of them was because I didn't install the graphics card drivers, but the other half the system couldn't detect anything. I've had those amount of bluescreens for every *desktop* I've had, but none with laptops.
Windows (the OS) is worse than mac's (technically!), and that is a fact. I'm unsure about anything else. |

"Steve paid him something to say that.
I have had NOTHING but problems with Mac."
Nothing but problems with your Mac? I never experienced any problems with anything in macs, except from trying to get games to work on them because software devs don't make them for macs. What problems have you had? |

"That is because Macs use 25 year old hardware."
It's pretty obvious you mostly don't know what you're talking about. |

We're talking about the computers and hardware, not OS and that derp stuff. Also, the OSes are just choices and opions upon the customer itself. |
