One does not simply walk into a dream.

It does take time. It could take years. But some are naturals. Perhaps you are?

Keep a dream jornal
Do reality checks such as counting fingures.

"There are some ways that help make lucid dreams more likely. Stephen LaBerge, a psychologist who studies lucid dreams, made the MILD (mnemonic induction of lucid dreaming) technique. To do this, the dreamer must wake up after having a dream, and visualise himself or herself being in the dream again, except now knowing it is a dream. The dreamer should think "the next time I am dreaming, I want to remember I am dreaming", and should concentrate on this while returning to sleep. There are many other ways to help someone lucid dream. One other way is to fall asleep while keeping the mind awake. This is called the WILD (wake induced lucid dreaming) technique. It is easiest to perform after waking up from a few hours of sleep."
wikipedia is awesome

There fun, they can help you with artist block. They can help you get over fears. You can practice martial arts in a dream and it really works. Fight ninjas to practice instead of a punching bag.

1. You hit your head on a tree. 2. You wake up. 3. You walk around and do everyday activities perfectly fine. 4. You are in a comma 5. You must wake up.
Hope this helps! Good luck on your quest. |

I remember one time, when I was young, I went to sleep with this thought in my head: I must wake up by 5 in the morning so I can play with the new toy I got."
I woke up at about 5 o' clock in the morning the next day. Lucid dreaming? Maybe. Something similar? Probably. |

@Gem That is not a lucid dream. The media has ruined the meaning of too many things... |

Lucid dreaming is being your aware your dreaming.
And no that isn't really simmilar to lucid dreaming, but it does show you have pretty good mental discipline.

| The only good dream things I have had was floating down from the sky back into my body when I was little and having a dream with future events. |
