@delta
in football you run with a ball while pushing sweaty men in baseball you hit a ball in wrestling you push down sweaty men in soccer you kick a ball
in cheerleading you throw people into the air while they do a series of flips and turns and then you catch them. you memorize a complicated routine and do many forms of gymnastics. |

In football, you can run, pass, kick, etc. In baseball, you hit a ball, field, or pitch In wrestling, uh, that is fake. In soccer, you can tackle, run, etc
Cheerleading isn't a sport, even by Title IX laws.

@Unicorn.
Can you throw a baseball 95 mph? Didnt think so.
Can you run a football 50 yards through 11 huge dudes? Didnt think so.
Cheerleading is not a sport. It may be athletic, but it is not a sport. Cheerleading is just what guys look at when the actual sports are getting boring... |

Cheerleading is a sport. Football is more athletic then cheerleading. Why? Because at practices they make you run. In games they make you block, gaurd a man(Run), and sometime you might get laid out(hit hard). In football theres no slacking. Normal during a game i run a mile. in practices maybe longer.
Baseball you have to hit a ball, run the bases , and play Outfeild.
In Basketball you have to play Offence and Defence the whole time,which means your running and running.
You dont even want to get me started about soccer. The good soccer players must run 24/7 because they dont stop during games.

Both sports require a certain level of skill. They are both hard and have different things about them.
Now, let's all hug. |

Wow. Just no... You've obviously never seen a baseball or a basketball game, ESCPECIALLY never played one...
I play real baseball, you dont just hit a ball.. If thats what you think, you are severely mistaken. On defense, you have to constantly think about what you are going to do if you get the ball, things like, what base you are going to throw it too, after you field it. Within seconds... And you have to have skill to catch and throw the ball well. On offense, its not just hitting a ball. You have to look at the coaches constantly for signs on whether to hit, take, or bunt the ball, on the bases too, looking at signals to know to stay, steal, and other things like pickoffs and sacrifices.
And "Hit the ball" actually can be hard. You have pitchers trying to throw the ball in certain spots and speeds to get you out. It's not as easy as it looks to hit a baseball. |

Indeed. I used to play basketball, it is truly hard. One second your on offence, the next second your running back to get on defense.
If you played it you would know how tiring it is and can be. You have to be fit to play.
It takes great aim to shoot and score, and great speed and stamina to keep up.
