Hello forum,
I'm trying to figure out what's going on here. When I first got my new compuer ROBLOX lagged imensly on it. After about two months, it randomly stopped. Everything ran perfectly. But, I had to restore my computer due to a virus. And once I restored it the problem came back.
I know it's not my internet because I can play just find on my sister's and mom's computers. But it jus happens on my computer.
I have no clue why it lags, does anyone have any tips?
If so please, PLEASE leave a reply. It'd mean the World to me.
Thanks!

Is it on the website or just in game?
Simple fix: If it is in game you should try closing all roblox web pages you have opened in the background (every webpage you have open is running roblox launcher plugin and may cause you to lag in game)
ADVANCED fix: Try to disable roblox launcher plug-in when in game and re enable afterwords. |

I have done that, I also close all tasks I can.
I also change my display to the "best for performance," and I always change ROBLOX to high priority.
And about the advanced fix, I have no clue how to do that. |

Okay, well no problem if the simple fix didn't work then the advanced fix wont work.
What type of graphics card are you running?
Also the first time this happened did you try to change roblox graphics to a more basic form? This would most likely decrease the lag if your graphics card is unable to support roblox |

It may be my graphics card, but I can play other games with higher graphics than roblox.
How do you decrease ROBLOX graphics? I can try this.
I'm lhonestly not sure what kind of graphics card I have. |

Sorry about the long reply
Open up roblox studios and click tools>Settings>Ok>Rendering
Then turn the qualities to low for the textures and maybe turn off bevals if you want. |

| It seemed to help a little, I wonder if it has something to do with the internet connecting to my compute...? |

| Roblox will work even if you have a stupid computer .The problem that is causing lagg is the speed connection. If you have a very high speed connection you won't have lagg even at quaitly 21 level and shadow on |
