Read before being butthurt, bronies.
MLP was not designed to be for teenage guys. Here is some reasons why
-The pony godesses of the sun and moon are BOTH female -Most characters that show any importance of all, yet female again -Male characters get small lines if they even get any at all, such as "Big mackintosh's 'Eeyup'" -The title... -It's original fanbase was actually the target, until FiM was made -Little "violence"
Have more reasons? add to the list ;)

-Who cares if they're BOTH girls? -And? Many shows are based on girls that have a large male audience. -Because that's how the story works. If you didn't notice males don't care to talk. Like the guards, Macintosh, and a guy with a big line is from episode 12 season 2 I think. -The title? What about it. Men can't like friendship with ponies? There are pony/horse riders worldwide. -No it wasn't, it was for CHILDREN. Not 1 targeted gender. -Little violence? ITS A KIDS SHOW YOU IDIOT |

Allow me to rephrase this. Most important characters are female, mocking male ponies. Reason the show is for girls. Little violence means its for a younger audience.
Put that together, and the target is for young females. |

-The pony godesses of the sun and moon are BOTH female okay so saying that 2 guys are friends means it's a guy show -Most characters that show any importance of all, yet female again no -Male characters get small lines if they even get any at all, such as "Big mackintosh's 'Eeyup'" no -The title... i thought transformers was crap because of the title until i saw one of the movies -It's original fanbase was actually the target, until FiM was made okay -Little "violence" fluttershy cracking a bear's back violently "your face" and the bucket rainbow dash destroying applejack's old barn for a new one etc.
Now please tell me you DO have valid reasons. |

-The pony godesses of the sun and moon are BOTH female
So? In LOZ OoT godesses were the only ones made the world
-Most characters that show any importance of all, yet female again
What about Powerpuff girls? That had girls as the main characters and it was directed to all ages
-Male characters get small lines if they even get any at all, such as "Big mackintosh's 'Eeyup'"
New episode had a male doctor that had a bunch of lines
-The title...
So?
-It's original fanbase was actually the target, until FiM was made
Ok......
-Little "violence"
It is a kids show. |

Everyone knows who the target audience is, but nobody cares.
If you don't like bronies, good for you. But there's really no reason to hate bronies as a whole. |

| You know what? I think I actually saw more violence in FiM then in something like Chowder, or Flapjack, which were mainly for boys aged 7-11. |

| Everyone has their reasons for why and why not. I could care less about the violence and genders of the characters. It all comes down to entertainment, nothing else. |

-The pony godesses of the sun and moon are BOTH female Who the heck cares? In the Mario Series, Peach is a Girl, and in Super Mario Galaxy, Rosalina is a girl. T_T -Most characters that show any importance of all, yet female again What deathman said. -Male characters get small lines if they even get any at all, such as "Big mackintosh's 'Eeyup'" Dude, who cares if they get small lines? I don't talk alot in school. -The title... Yeah, It's my little pony: Friendship is magic. The title doesn't have anything to do with the target audience. Sometimes even, the titles have nothing to do with the show. Like for example, Angry Beavers. Sure, they were beavers, but I didn't see one that was angry. -It's original fanbase was actually the target, until FiM was made No one cares if the fanbase was the target. -Little "violence" Who the heck cares about violence? Violence is overrated and stupid. |
