I think we should add a Merchant Frigate to S303. I have a picture link at the bottom of this. If you think it should be added, post a message saying Yes in response. The Frigate is a two story ship with a cargo bay and space for four passengers. It would require 6 shipbuilding, and 3 carpentry.

Yes! It's an incredible and and an original idea to an edition to Survival 303, as Admin. I'll try my best to let it inside the game.

Well, truthfully no harm done if you add it, so I do question why it was asked if "we" wanted it. Its a great idea, and if a server gets to the point of actually thinking about using the coin press economy then this Merchant Frigate will come into action. It will make it faster and easier for those who want to trade for the currency or other items to other players. Its a good idea so in the end i say Yes, you should add it.

People would just use it for combat and that will lead to "Fleets", eventually you will need to add some way of combating these ships if they turn into Frigates. Also. Trading ships bring in "Pirates".

I totally agree on the adding of retooling ships, noobs keep stealing my boats. Though it trains ship building I still hate gathering the material.

Sounds like a good idea, as long as it isn't very fast. Of course it will rarely be used for comercial purposes as people can just forage all their trading goods and hop into a catamaran. My guess is it will often be used as a warship rather than a merchant ship.

The reason you aren't able to retool boats is because it makes it more realistic. Yes, it can get annoying when somebody steals your boat. But it makes it more realistic. If you're a raider, you would be extremely irritated if you stole a boat only to have it retooled, and thus disappear, in the middle of the ocean on your way back home.

Yes! I think it would be excelent for a faster ship. Noobs tryna steal mah ship all da time. This way i can also make a fast get away while raiding

Looking at the structure and size of it it woulnt be efficante, if you made 60 speed Catameran being 50, that was take away an element of relism saying a big bulky thing can go faster than a light dual-raft boat.
No. |

Yes. This would be nice. but is there a way you can actually like store stuff in it? like a treasure chest that you can store stuff in and it wont move around or create lag or something. I dont really play S404 anymore, but when i did, i found the bottom hull of the large sailboat thingy useless... everything would slide aroudn and cause lag and drop to the bottom of the ocean. Its annoying. Also, what about a larger dock to put it in?

Yes. I think that would be a good idea. I think it should come with a chest to store stuff (on the bottom deck), and cannons that can be mounted on ships can be crafted separately. I really think that anything that makes the game more realistic is good. Also I think that large ships should really be lower in the water, with maybe just the top deck and the upper 1/4 the bottom deck showing.
