@1waffle1, ABSOLUTLY NOT.
Steve jobs had serious problems, do i care he died no. Why? you may ask, when he died everybody cried and held up their candle ipads, so when dennis richie who left a BIGGER impact on the industry with C died i didnt see anyone hold up their C Programming books. Apple is the biggest fail company next to LJN publishing. |

"It was developed by Bjarne Stroustrup starting in 1979 at Bell Labs as an enhancement to the C language. Originally named C with Classes, the language was renamed C++ in 1983"

But without Mac we would not have Windows.....Because then Bill gates wouldn't have stole..
Well that's irrelevant but Steve Jobs did make a big impact in Technology...Since he was the first one to make Phones with the epic Touch Screen Technology and then the other company's copied so they could still run as a business. |

| Touch screen is gross. Without mac the world wouldnt change that much, instead linux would be more popular and it deserves that popularity more than OS X. |

Linux is free and quite nice, good option. Windows can do anything the other OSes could too, but more for example they don't have to wait for a special game version for their OS, like on Roblox. I hate macs cause of the price, it just makes my heart die and eyes break. |

| Just for accuracy, iPhone was *not* the first touch-screen phone, nor the first phone to allow for "apps." In general, I believe the reason that the i(Pad/Pod/Phone) are so celebrated is not for anything tech (they did not pioneer any of the fields), but rather because of their design, marketing, and business strategies, which indeed have been brilliant. |

@HotThoth Selling cheaply-made PC knockoffs for thousands of dollars is a "brilliant business strategy"?
Well, I guess so, since the majority of the public is too stupid to realize that Macs aren't as good as Apple makes them sound. |

| Really, the only good thing Macs are for is video editing, but you can buy a regular PC plus a better program than iMovie for less than a Mac costs. |

Ignorance much?
The majority (parhaps more than 80%) of people with computers uses PCs.

YOU ARE SO SMALL, IS FUNNY TO ME!
Also,
>implying that price is the only thing that matters
if someone has quite a bit of money to spend and doesn't want to get involved with computers as much, they might as well get a Mac, since they may even have better usability than PCs in some cases (portability? have you found a good PC that's as light as the Macbook Air?) |

| Also, myrkos, my original statement isn't as ignorant as you think. How many of that 80% wants a Mac instead, but can't afford one? |

@myrkos No, no, no...just no. You can get a good PC without having to mess with it much way cheaper than a Mac. |

Have you read my post entirely? I think not. See where I talked about portability. |
