A program to upload "videos" on ROBLOX. This will obviously be a 3rd party program; I don't think it'd be TOO terribly hard to make.
1) Take a video file and split it frame by frame into a collection of image files 2) Automatically upload all of the images to ROBLOX, keeping track of the URL of each 3) Generate an RBXM file that contains all of the images in decal form, named 1-x in the correct order (the user will insert this into their game) 4) Make a simple ROBLOX script to create a global function to load the model in the game and display it frame by frame on a part
Obviously, there will have to be a video length limit to prevent huge decal spam. |

| How will they ever know who to ban, since it's a 3rd party program? Unless you're stupid and come out to say you made it. |

"Unless you're stupid and come out to say you made it."
... this thread...
Anyways, I don't think you put any thought into the time it would take for all the decals to load. You'd need to wait for each decal (or frame) to load before you could play your video clip. |

That just cries out lag.
And getting banned for "spamming of decals".

I've always kinda wanted to make something like this... lol And would it lag much after the decals have been loaded into memory? |

| Weeeel analysing ganondudes stargate which for the event horizon it loads several decals, i have determined that intially it will lag, might skip a few frames here and there and be blinky but eventually smoothes out so store them all somewhere run it a couple times till its smooth and enjoy your movie lol. |

@above, please lrn2use periods. kthxbai :P
Also, a better solution is using a GUI render (just as good of quality as ROBLOX), that renders stuff from strings. :D

You'd need to be a very bored programmer.

| They're going to let you upload 30sec yt previews for your places, may as well wait for that instead. |
