| I don't know what that stupid botulinum cow thinks she's playing at. The Falklands have NEVER belonged to them, and they NEVER will. |

| A war is not very likely. Argentina is a republic, not a dictatorship anymore. |

As much as my heritage shouts "Those islands belong to your country and people, take them", declaring war over islands you don't even administer and with a combined total of 2,000 residents is silly. Ever since 1920 when the whaling industry was banned pretty much everywhere, the islands have no immediately useful source of income other than being a good gateway to the Antarctic.
As for the people insulting Argentina itself, there's no need to go there. Lay off. |

@History
Just did a google search. I guess there is oil. Never mind what I said. In that case, that actually makes a Second Falklands War somewhat viable, but still somewhat pointless |

>mfw I hate Argentina because of the last world cup and my Argentinian neighbors
The BRs in on my street almost burned their flag when Argentina lost. Would have been so funny. |

A 2nd Falkland War would be utterly stupid, and end in disaster for the Argentinians.
First off, there is about 1,200 or so soldiers stationed at the Falklands at all times inside a military fortress. Then, there is about 4 Eurofighters in hardened bunkers that would give the UK instant aerial supremacy above the isles preventing any landing craft from landing. That and the possibility of warships coming close to the islands without any nearby Royal Navy ships sinking them is impossible to believe of. |

| Falklands isn't just good for oil. It's also a stragetic to control there because you can control the cape on the bottom of the South America. |

| But Argentina is considered a major non-NATO ally, so its unlikely they will strike. Just flexing. |

| Britain had territory in the Falklands before Argentina was even a country. There is no Argie heritage there at all. |

You eventually left the islands, after which someone whose name I don't remember claimed the archipielago for the United Provinces. A few years later an American ship attacked the Argentines and took part of the population, then the British attacked.
But all I really care about is self-determination. |
