Socialism has never brought happiness, and prevents those to be successful.
Therefore, Chaplin not being a real socialists. Inwhich, proving yet again, socialism has not, is not, nor will ever work. |

China is some weird hybrid Socialist state that maintains consumer sovereignty while still maintains a tight grip on their social lives and freedoms.
North Korea is an isolationist state, and the whole Juche ideology is a little iffy, I would never call them Communist. |

Communism will get you know where, in fact you go backwards.
Capital is the beacon of hope that will save humanity and put and end to the communist greed and control over everything. |

| Communism encourages slackers. What the communists fail to account for when they go into their little system, there's going to be people who are going to be lazy and not really contribute, and in fact communism will encourage some of them to be this way. They also fail to account for the fact that it will be the hardest on the middle class to the upper classes because the richer have to worry about all the people below them, while the middle class has to worry about all the people blow them whilst sucking their cash from the richer. The poor class will be the only ones to truly benefit from this system, as they have nobody to suck from them, they will get the majority of the funds because their need is greater. The reason why I agree more with capitalism is because you're paid according to your ability, not your greed. It's been argued that you can't really measure a man's contributions to society, so you should make them all the same. I don't really agree. You can measure his contributions by the quality of goods him and his coworkers turn out. If their company is turning out good products then their ability must be high. If they're turning out cheap crap products then obviously their ability is low. It's also been stated that communism doesn't work because of greed. Well I'll point out that greed is a natural part of the human psyche, just as much has pleasure and pain. Every person is greedy for something, whether for money, or in the case of socialism, "equality". That's another thing that gets my gears grinding. Equality. The way they say it disgusts me. "Just because he makes more money then me I'm not his equal." No, you're wrong. You're his equal because in the end you're both going to meet your demise, no matter how much money in the world you have. That's why you give your money away at the end, so that way it doesn't rot and spoil your family's seed when they get a hold of it. Money does corrupt, but only because money is a form of power. Just like knowledge is a form of power, but that's a topic for another day. Back to the topic of equality, you ARE his equal because you HAVE the capacity to produce what he does, you just CHOOSE not to. Oh but he has the private property copyright. You were too slow. You don't like his product and think you can make a better one? Go for it. Just don't whine because he thought of something else first. But we're taught to give to the poor and love thy brother! No. Just no. Don't go there. You can love your brother all you want, you can help him all you want. Just don't force me to, and we won't have a problem. That's pretty much all that I care to type right now about why I don't like communism/socialism. I'll address more later, if anybody feels like arguing with me. |

"Capital is the beacon of hope that will save humanity"
Not at all, Capitalism will work until it reaches it's high point, then you end up with the situation we're in right now.
This will be the test to see if American Capitalism will really stand out. |

"Until it reaches its high point..."
When it reaches its high point it has to bounce back. Good crops are usually followed by bad ones because the land cannot support too many good crops in a row, it tears up the soil. (Dust Bowl is a good example.) That and the bad times help define what the good times are. |

Welfare- Not unlimited. I believe there should be a six month cap.
Health care- That's iffy... I believe it's basic coverage and that's it. |
