or example, many people seem to have an issue with rotating guns that they shrink down, or even make out of two bricks. No matter how simple, it seems impossible to make the rotation incorrect.
Any ideas or tools?

This is easy to fix. Just adjust the angles of the Hold Position |

Iciness, yes. But I never seem to be able to get them lined up properly. I've done them in RBLX build-mode. Yet, when I save, they're screwed up regardless of how they originally were.

You mean try with my tool? Currently I don't have a tool that I need that done with. I would just like some sort of tutorial or if anyone knows of a tool to help rotate the handle.
Because in the future I plan on making a gun for my raycast script. So when I do, I want to make sure it wouldn't be all for nothing.

| There is a way without a script but it takes longer and doesn't always go right. |

So is there a way to insert a script into it to automatically set it correctly straight?

Ah alright. Do I just insert it into the tool? It's the "auto-weld" I am guessing.

It's a little trickier than others are suggesting. Since we let you edit all the values for a Tool's grip, if you just changed them to 0, you'd get a Tool grip that made no sense. So after any value is changed, ROBLOX actually goes through and changes all the other values so they "make sense". One glitch is that these new values DON'T ALWAYS SHOW UP IMMEDIATELY! So, here's how I'd edit those values:
Go into a visit in Studio -- edit the Tool's grip values. Every time I edit a value, I click on some other model and then click back (this forces the new values to always be shown). Once it's in a position I like, I write down all the Tool Grip values. Then I close the visit. Back in Studio Mode (but not in a visit), I go to that Tool and change all the Tool Grip values to what I want them to be (clicking on some other model and clicking back to make sure they got inputted correctly). It takes some time, and sometimes the system will "correct" you to a value you don't want. But if you input things in a different order and keep trying, you can always get it to the right values eventually.
It is also possible to change these values from script, but I assumed you wanted a non-scripting answer. |
