NCIS guide. Basic rules and regulations of the NCIS.
----------- RANKS ----------- Probitionary agent: New guy. Just assist other agents, and show that you have a chance to go on to a permanant position.
Temporary agent: Proven that they can do their jobs. Mainly keeps probies in line, does small cases, or assists them. These agents may or may not stay there, either reverting back to a probitionary agent or becoming a special agent.
SH liason officer: Pretty obvious. These are SH members, in the NCIS, to monitor and link data to keep both sides of MB's intel departments up to date.
Special Agent: The REAL agents of NCIS. They carry out cases, and maintain all other NCIS, save directors. These people are on par with liason officers, and have great skill.
Assistant director/director: The real leaders of the group. NCIS is one of the few MB divisions to be run mainly by non-generals, yet still under command of WAC. They do everything for the group.
--------------------- ENTRY GUIDELINES --------------------- Non-NCIS: Work hard, and follow orders. We have to do it right, since we are normally first on the scene, and deal more with the general public. If you show skill and knowledge in leadership and tactics, you may be reccomended for NCIS.
NCIS members: To reccomend someone, you need to write a paragraph or so about WHY they should be NCIS. Dont say the obvious stuff, like "oh, they follow orders and are good." Give us examples, and observations. When you complete a request, send it to a special agent, or director. They will review it and decide if they want that person in the group.
----------------- JURISTICTION ----------------- Unlike SH, who deal mainly with spying, external matters, and special ops combat, NCIS are more of the MP police force of MB. They make sure visitors are being orderly, and keep other MB from acting up. NCIS are -NOT- allowed to arrest raiders unless they give their consent. They MAY NOT spy, at all. NCIS must lead troops, and create defensive positions. It should be noted that NCIS does NOT override rank. There are also formations, which are detailed in trainings. SH and NCIS are technically on the same tier, though it is considered due to what SH does they are above NCIS. Either way, listen to them. They know what they are doing.
------------------------------- REPORTING NCIS MEMBERS ------------------------------- If a NCIS, or any other MB is acting in a stupid or uncalled for manner, you can report them to NCIS special agents, similar to requesting someone in. Say the person's name, and what they did. You may PM it to a special agent, or post it on the wall. If it is about an NCIS member, it is best to send it to a special agent as to make sure that it doesnt clog the wall with an arguement.
-------------------------------- INTERROGATE CUFF USAGE -------------------------------- This is a big one. Now, the cuffs are a privlage. Do not abuse them, or you will be kicked from NCIS and possibly demoted in the main group if deemed necessary. The definition of abuse is: Jailing raiders without raider consent Jailing visitors without reason Jailing MB without reason Jailing MB WITHOUT a warning issued beforehand. Only arrest them AFTER you give a warning and they still keep doing something they shouldnt be doing.
Doing any of these will eventually result in EXILE from NCIS. |
