...But only because I'm aware that there is one, and essentially because this is my collab-
On topic:
I want some fantasy RP dealing with a village that was built in a dry cove below a dam, and, once this dam broke, the cove would've flooded, creating a fairly large and deep lake. To make it even more interesting, someway somehow the entire area froze, thus preserving the village and its residents for over 100 years.
Odd to make the backstory first, isn't it? |

| It is a fairly good way to start a collaboration. |

But it's fantasy.
I WANT HORSES. AND I WANT THIEVES.
:3
There needs to be conflict.
...How will anyone manage to find this village, though? It's one the floor of this frozen lake... I wouldn't suspect anyone assuming there would be a village underneath their feet while they walk across this lake. ._. And I don't see how anyone could stumble upon this village... by accident... |

Maybe it wasn't by accident.
What is a really evil lord was hiding there and a great and powerful wizard and destroyed the village to save the world, but killed the villagers.
But, the evil lord kept all his gold there.... And so on from there. |

| Here's my opinion:It is current day 2050,and the rate of global warming has risen even higher.Due to this the caps have all but melted and anywhere close to the equator is inhospitable.Snowy areas like parts of Alaska have started to melt,which reveal a hidden village long frozen from the ice age many years ago. |

Isn't it supposed to be a fantasy though? I'm not sure how your idea would work :P |

Yes, but the Earth is a globe not just the country of America. Pollution spreads.
It would be much more possible for this village to be located in Northern Russia or Greenland where ancient villages did actually exist. |

| Well, it could be an accident as stated above. Or it could be as if there is a whole village, and the villagers finally get out, and try to figure out the world. Or... it could be some sort of indiana jones deal where people try to get to a fabled treasure in the frozen city. |

Tai, I absolutely love these villages. Mostly because they keep spawning in my Minecraft worlds as miracles, but also because Tai's one of the best scenery writers on ROBLOX. :)
Maybe there's a band of people who got really pissed at their chief, left, and discovered the world from 100 years later? It's theoretically possible when the goats and other mythical creatures start dying off, most likely in Mesoamerica. Come on, people; are you really scared to play as a Native American for once? Even though at least half of our food sources and a beadbasket's worth of culture is in Mesoamerica? |

And allow me to add some CLARIFICATION:
This would have to be somewhere in South America; this crap ain't happening in Mexico. I checked the geography to try finding a good river, and the best location I could come up with would be somewhere in south Peru. Don't laugh, as I can think of a good reason to set up a village near something like Lake Titicaca and another river...
I apoligize, as I just wanted to awaken from my Mesoamerican cryosleep. I'm not even looking for the idea to become real. |

@Logan,
I, err, actually decided to use horses because of a different game... LoZ!!!
@Dark,
Best... scenery maker? ._. Naw. I'm TERRIBLE with scenery descriptions. I can never make them vivid to my readers.
Also, ahhh, seeing as how I don't know much about South America, and I don't know crap about this Lake Titicaca...
^Essential reason why I make my own worlds :3^ |

Oh! Oh! I have an idea! Well, for how the village is discovered.. Some people (.<.Mu.ch description there) take their horses out over the body of water/ice that the village is under, thinking the ice is thick, but it is in reality thin, so the horses slip and go down..? |

@Tai
I don't find you all that bad, actually. It's not your best, I admit, but it's far from being a piece of fodder.
And...hmm, actually, you raise a point. South America is a land no one bothers to use for anything but jungle warfare, so I'll give you something about this odd lake. It's in southern Peru, near some of the Andes mountains, and is one of the largest lakes of South America. Many species of fish live there, while the Andes...yeah. Above that, mostly plains. |

People would try to investigate because you never hear about a lake that freezes ALL THE WAY THROUGH ALL YEAR LONG,
and maybe if we are allowed to be the village people their bodies would be so accustomed to the cold (it's fantasy, it can happen :() and then they would be living in very cold temperatures though I don't know what this would do for the RP
But the village could be discovered because of people investigating the lake freezing all the way through
I kinda rushed this :I |
