I figured that ACMP is really annoying on XBOX because of the community, and OP weapons, so I thought I'd bring it here.
At my place, I've got the basic layout done, (yay for my terrain floating island method)
So, you spawn on a floating island, and then there are SpawnLocations scattered all over the map (for now a baseplate) I suck at scripting, but I'm trying to make it so you go to a random spawn. Anyway, the objective of the game would be to rack up KOs and stop the other team from spawning
How?
Lets say you have a barricade tool. Basically a delete tool, but only SpawnLocations of the opposite team can be deleted. There would be a random map, and the SpawnLocations would all be hidden. So you destroy the spawns, the less chance of a new player joining the game being the opposing team. You would have a HUD with ammo, health etc. It would also flash when an enemy is near a spawnlocation, and where. They would have names, like lets say a Templar spawn is Castello. It would say that when you spawn there, and when an Assassin gets close, it says: Warning: Assassin: (PLAYERNAME) is nearing the Castello!
Once all the spawns are deleted, it will say (TEAM) wins! They have eliminated all members of the opposing team. There would also be a respawn timer, so you can't just die in an invasion due to low health, and then come back and kill them.
So, the teams are only random when a game is not going on. Lets use this as an example:
{PLAYER} joins. {PLAYER} joins current game, and is put on Templars {PLAYER} dies. {PLAYER} waits and joins game again, and is still on Templars. [GAME ENDS] {PLAYER} joins game and is put on Assassins. {PLAYER} dies. {PLAYER} waits and joins game again, and is still on Assassins.
You get it.
Also, there could be a shop. My idea for a shop item is Icon Badge They come in Templar and Assassin. Buying it will increase your chance of being put on the respective team at the start.
Also, it would have to be first person only. Unless we get an Assasination Script, where a player can target you where you can't see him from behind, and then run up to you fast, and assassinate you, and once he makes contact you can't move or do anything about it, because otherwise you can see players behind you, and turn around and fight them, and then theres no point in it being ASSASSINS creed multiplayer, and your only sense is the sound of their footsteps, or your toast.
Any more suggestions?
