| PFFT. Tied with Romania? Clearly BS, from a pro-occupy group. |

Its highly irrational. I think the fact that the US doesn't have government owned agencies dictating news should make it way higher than Canada, UK, Germany, etc.
Government News=Propaganda. |

You COULD print anything you wanted.
Obviously except for death threats, etc.
But god, why would we trust pro-occupy anti American scumbags to give us the news? |

| If you rank freedom by how much propaganda there is, then the U.S. deserves its place. |

The government is very covert in the way it deals with propaganda.

| Also, the Press Freedom Index comes from Reporters Without Borders. They cited the US losing 27 positions because of "... the many arrests of journalist covering Occupy Wall Street protests." |

| That's not propaganda. Military commanders have been on news stations for decades, and it's entirely up to the news station whether they want to hire them or not. |

Journalists need papers. I call myself a journalist, but if I got arrested, I would not give a crap. Anyone can pick up an iPhone and claim, JOURNALIST!
Papers and proper identification. Most important thing there is. |

Today I learned that there's a very high density of morons in any anti-occupy group.
Stop saying empty buzzwords like "Anti-American", they mean freaking **NOTHING.**
I used to be agentrok. -It's not easy being cheesy. |

| I just ignore anything after the words "anti-american". Much like "rascist" and "conservative/liberal", it's just a meaningless buzzword for "things I don't agree with". |

| Avogadro, there is US propaganda everywhere, even if its not issued by the government. Ever seen the movie the Patriot? |

Ever seen the movie the Patriot? ____ You use an entirely privately made movie, that is completely optional to watch, as an example of propaganda? |

BBC Newsnight with Jeremy Paxman begs to differ. |

No one forced anyone to watch Triumph of the Will. You don't have to be forced to watch something in order for it to be propaganda. |

| Yes, but there are just as many movies that hate on or satirize America as there are like The Patriot. |

| Actually, any form of "journalism" could be considered propaganda, as those presenting the information are influencing your thoughts by the sentence structuring as well as, on the television, body language, facial language, and tone. |

"That's 2d thinking, noob."
No, it's not. It's logical thinking, as well as proven. Just look at the news corps' presentation of Anonymous and then look at the way Anonymous presents themselves.
Do the same with OWS.
You'll discover that what I've said isn't two dimensional thinking. |
