| but $20 an hour with "green" energy?? "Green" energy is the most expensive energy and $20 is a rediculous wage. And without machines to harvest the naturally grown food? And most "green" ideas of energy aren't even that "green". |

so there are no wages, unlike what you said b4? Are you one of those environmental nut/tree huggers who praises electric cars, uses "green" lightbulbs, hates pickup trucks, believes CO2 is a pollutant, and believes in global warming? PS: are you a public or private school? |

"I bet the food is expensive as heck.... that society will fail."
If this economy had a big agricultural sector, the food supply would certainly be huge, and unless everyone is so fat they are about to explode, there's no way the demand would be comparable to the supply, because of this the prices would be low.
"but $20 an hour with "green" energy?? "Green" energy is the most expensive energy and $20 is a rediculous wage. And without machines to harvest the naturally grown food? And most "green" ideas of energy aren't even that "green"."
1- So what if green energy is the most expensive one? Diamonds are a great way of making money. For example, look at Botswana, if what Wikipedia says is right, its economy (which is heavily dependant on diamonds) has been growing at an average annual rate of 10%. 2- Explain me why do you think $20 is a ridiculous wage. The OP didn't say that this scenario was set in today's world, so it's possible (and I'd say likely) that such wages would exist in the future, especially if the economy, again, exports diamonds. 3- Yeah, the lack of machines might a problem, but if a big part of the workforces dedicates itself to agriculture they might not be really necessary. 4- Why can this country only take the ones that really are green?

What?
