| Failtroll is fail. Anyhow, most of the inventions here today wouldn't be around if America's populous was mentally disable. Take the light-bulb for example, it was made by an American. Telephones, Ipods/Iphones/Ipads, telegraphs, computers, sewing machines- all made by Americans. Who beat Old Communist Russia to the moon? America. Think before you post, OP. |

Made a mistake. The first telegraph was actually German.
"for the most part I had a (weak) point." A weak point? None of what you claimed to be invented in America actually was! |

| Boeing, I did mention something about the Space Race and some of Apple's inventions. But, here are some American inventions (Hopefully)- zippers, dimmers, bottle caps, tractors, medical gloves, semi-automatic shotguns, assembly lines, air-conditioning, airplanes, and the traffic light. |

Apple isn't important compared to the rest.
Most of those inventions I'm going to assume because I don't feel like looking them up. However, Gustave Whitehead has a very strong case for having flown a powered aircraft a year before the Wright Brothers. |

| Whitehead was an American citizen. My point there is invalidated. |

I'm wrong again. He lived in America, but he never became a citizen. |
