Before ROBLOX is put onto the iPad, they should work on Linux. ROBLOX was originally for Windows, then went onto Mac, and now they are working on the iPad. There is something they are lacking with that though, and that is Linux.
Sure, Linux doesn't have as big as a crowd as Windows or Mac, but it is up there. Linux has many distributions, yes, but aim towards the big ones. Preferably the top five. Linux (got to include the original!), Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE, Debian, and Mandriva.
Why should ROBLOX be on Linux, before iPad? Sure, less people use Linux, but less people use Mac than Windows. Linux is faster than Windows, Linux is very reliable (it crashes less than Windows), less programs run in the background (this can reduce lag, but I am unaware of how much), and you get more money.
ROBLOX will have many issues with the iPad. ROBLOX needs a keyboard. What about tools that require the keyboard? If you move by touching the screen, how do you click stuff?
Linux is free, just like ROBLOX. Linux is fast, organized, and easy to learn. "Death to lazy builders. Remove the CFrame tools. Command bar all the way." ~pauljkl |

| Never heard of that before. So little people use it, so it isn't needed. |

A lot of people do. I think it's the third most popular operating system.

I've heard of Linux...
But the ROBLOX developers need to learn Linux kernel...
So it would come but would take a long time as the ROBLOX developers are newbs at the Linux kernel. |

@Kyle I started learning C++ on Windows, then switched over to Ubuntu and finished learning C++, without doing anything more than downloading an IDE. Unless they need to do anything special (excepting for downloading the engine), they should be fine.

Support, also it might be useful for ROBLOX on the Linux because there might be some people who get a new computer with a clean hard drive, and need to install an OS...
Ubuntu is free, because you burn it to a liveCD and also its for newbs too! So ROBLOX might be useful for people who spent their free time on something. |

| ROBLOX seeks profit. There is little to no profit to be made in the Linux market. On the other hand, TONS of people will download/buy the app and thus ROBLOX will earn more money. |

| Linux is Open Source. Of course many people use it. But, not as much as Windows or Mac. |

@ KyleT "But the ROBLOX developers need to learn Linux kernel..." When I was 11 I was scripting advanced Shell and found everything about my Linux Machine as I could. I still today have trouble finding new things. You have my full support. Oh and, apt-get moo |

"There's BC and You have buy Robux so Roblox isn't that free" I once had TBC, That was a choice. I also have never bought Robux. Yet i'm still here playing 100% free. How free is it now? Join my forums! - StudioInfinitiv(DOT)net |

@chris061192 Linux and Mac OSX are just about the same. It wouldn't be that hard.

Adding onto what AHER0 just said... Linux was made from UNIX (I am pretty sure), and Mac was made from UNIX.
