Alot of people who probably have seen Telamon's status or the blog have seen ROBLOX's plans to create water and buoyancy, right? Well, the majority of us want ROBLOX to be a bit more realistic and such. the one simple thing i could suggest adding is allowing some sort of human-water relation system. Basically it's allows more human interactions with water. but what do i mean by this?
It's a basic concept. if a humanoid is in the water, their walkspeed is slowed down. Also, if they go underwater, they may lose something called "breath." (in short terms, a breathing system.). Also, the human can hold the space bar underwater to swim upward, floating if they hold the space bar at the surface. Now, how will this help?
Ironically, this can promote creativity. How? through editing a script inside the "Water" object containing all of this, People can create games like: -Rescue drowning people -Sea monsters vs ROBLOXians -Scuba dive for treasure! And the list goes on. But of course, like any idea on ROBLOX, there are flaws that counter it.
Now, the most largest flaw that would come to mind is: "Scriptible." Technically, this IS implementible through scripts. However, the scripts would be too complicated for most game makers, and it's impossible to implement all of this in one script (tell me the script if you think its still possible).the second most largest flaw is "lag." in order for ROBLOX to imply water and buoyancy in the first place, they would have to update their physics engine, so this wouldn't be a problem. I can't think of any major flaws, so this is probably it.
And that's about it for this idea. Feel free to expess opinions on this, and possible ways to make it better.

Scriptable with 4 bricks, but in 1 brick, impossible.

Here is a TL;DR for those to lazy. P = Paragraph (E.g: P1 = Paragraph one) (Not as good, so dont flame unless you read it all)
P1: Water Physics should be added.
P2: Ex: Floating, limited breathing, et cetera.
P3: This would increase Creativity. (Counterable though)
P4: The flaws, possibly scriptable, and lag causing.
P5: What he wants to be posted XD

| Easily scripted with one script. Just variable the player and a brick directly above the water, and bingo, done. With a little keydown and some MoveTo, it can be accomplished easily. |

DX can you script the breath junk and how to regain breath? Can You script how to float randomly in it?

I dont see the script brian. How will you float in water, have limited breathing, and regain breath after?

I don't support so much on the breath portion, but everything else I support. If you have breath, then you can't go and make a giant underwater cavern.

| Well, for breath, just check when the head is at least 1 stud below the top brick on the water, and tween a Gui, when it doesn't, tween it back. For randomly floating, just make a coroutine that does a while true do math.random() on the Y axis of the player's Torso. |

| I support. And just so you know these interactions are not scriptable The Terrain bricks dont appear in workspace.Don't believe me??? Go on roblox studio and generate some terrain look on work space no bricks.There ya go |

| (SIDE NOTE) The Terrain bricks are hidden in the terrain slot in workspace you cant open it cuz the parent property is locked roblox may allow you to access in the future |
