I support SOPA
Truthfully, the laws are already in place. But corporations do not have a way to enforce them.
Don't steal movies and music and your fine. |

Are you kidding?
All companies will increase profits with this law, this means they can realese new products that they could not before.
Think about it.
Microsoft would make billions. They could invest in a new Xbox or something.
Sony would make tons to, they could make a new PS
The laws are already in place. Its against the law that people steal music/videos. So.. why can't companies prosecute people? If you buy the rights to the items, you own them. It's not like you can't use anything anymore. And if its a privacy thing you are talking about corporations won't own that. The government controls that part.
Why do you think so many reps/senators support it? It is a good law. |

| Only problem about SOPA is that every detail wasn't private that's kinda like Pure Communist take over of the internet. And I know why their doing is because, Microsoft just runs like 2.5/5 of the internet security and the rest is either government controlled or Internet National Police. I like it's idea but, fore say FB Twit and past stuff you did in the wrong became public and not private. But, now the public can read all your information bout your life fore say. Like if all the famous people in the world records and history no matter what were released and told EVERYTHING they did in life.. I mean copyright laws are stricter. But, yet, if you wanted to get rid of illegal websites from worm downloaders and music scams. IT goes either way government can't always be judgmental about this. When there wasn't copyright law as strict enough.. I found an learned so much music and movies that I just loved enough I had to get them. So, copying isn't bad it can be good for those whom made the entertainment they just react so differently and harsh to these kinds of moments. |

@Battle.
Everything is about money now. But slow it down. We don't need more monopolies running just a branch of stuff. Sony and Microsoft are large corporations but, without Google or Wika or anything else. They're pointless. |

Wikipedia said SOPA and PIPA were in the "shadows." That means that they can be voted on whenever the time comes.
Also, the latest broadcast from Anonymous said that they would take revenge of the arrest of the creators of a free download sharing company. |

| SOPA wouldn't be bad if it wouldn't shutdown major sites. |

@ Liss.
That site is megaupload and they already have.
Only for a few minutes, the shutdown the FBI website, the US DOJ website the RIAA site, Universal Music's site(Still shutdown) and 6 others including a french government site.
They taunted the FBI by saying "Are you feeling sensored yet? I hope you like your own medicine!"
Anonymous is setting up a new megaupload to replace the one shutdown. |

@Liss
Not many people know this, but there is a reason Anonymous is called Anonymous.
People from all around the world can help fight a cause, they don't know each other, nor do they care to know eachother. It's for the sake of fighting for what they believe in.
If i wanted to join it and I had some skills, i could just call my self Anoymous, and I would be a member.
Anyway,
Google doesn't want SOPA to pass because of money.
They would lose a few hundred million dollars. If you haven't noticed, many websites that give away free music/movies and what not make money off of Google advertisements, so does Google. Why do you think they care about such a small law?
IDK about wiki, but i bet they have a reason to.
All companies would make money. I could name like thousands. I just picked two that are very common.
And no, they aren't going to come to your door and arrest you for downloading something.
This is to target the people that are giving away Free-downloads, while hiding behind fire walls, and loopholes in the law, while they have proxies running all around the world. There is no way to stop them really.. Unless these laws are passed.
Don't worry, nothing will happen to YT, yourself, or anyone you know. Just big companies that thrive off of others rights.
you understand? |
