2012 NFL Draft prospect LaMichael James is no doubt the most explosive back in the draft. NFL Networked ranked LaMichael as the the 4th ranked running back in the draft. Behind Trent Richardson, David Wilson, and Lamar Miller.
The reason why LaMichael James isn't projected to be drafted in the 1st round is his size. LaMichael is 5'9, height isn't the problem since Maurice Jones-Drew, Ray Rice, and Frank Gore are all 5'9 or shorter. LaMichael James problem is weight. James is listed at 195lbs on Oregon football's website. Reggie Bush is the closest starting NFL running back at 203lbs, but Bush is 3 inches taller than LaMicheal, with the addition that Reggie Bush isn't a running back that would run up the middle and attack the defender. Weight and strength can be added relatively fast with the great facilities and conditioning any NFL team owns.
If LaMichael James bulks up while keeping his dynamic speed in the NFL. There is little to no doubt that LaMichael would be the steal of the 2012 Draft. |

Wisconsin's defense sucks.
Only 54 rushing yards against LSU (18 attempts) |

| Thats still 3.0 yards per rush. Witch is low, but the Oregon O-line isn't made for the SEC. |

| Lamich could be the steal of the draft if he gets drafted by a good team (LIKE THE STEELERS COULD USE HIM) |

| I don't think the Steelers would be able to get him in the 2nd round. |

Also Detroit isn't a power running team.
Perfect for an explosive back like LaMichael. |

| hes not a 1st rounder because of his size.MJD was a 1st rounder because hes so big despite him being like 5'7".James is very explosive but he'll have to get on the weights so more if he wants to be a st rounder or a starter in the NFL. |
