I heard that the white house denied it. Even if that's incorrect, the white house claims that Obama will not support the bill.
Now we have PIPA to worry about... |

Wikipedia IS blacking out... Reddit IS blacking out...
There's a lot more than just a bill that people are protesting. |

| SOPA is not out. They just changed the bill, but SOPA can still cause problems. |

| The shelved SOPA, which means that it can come back at any time once the protests have died down with a different name like "Saving American Jobs Act" and weed its way through when no one is looking. |

| Before posting a thread here, ask yourself whether it is scripting related. That is, might anyone describe an algorithm in your thread? If not, go to Off-Topic. |

to put on topic:
Programming would be very difficult without guides on websites like youtube, or wikipeda, and if your project was not indie, it would be hard to transfer data. |

"That is, might anyone describe an algorithm in your thread?" Here's my algorithm in Lua code: repeat Go to Google Make email Send 4 emails to the senate requesting the bill be denied Log out until SOPA == nil and PIPA == nil |

"Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) withdrew as a co-sponsor of the Protect IP Act in the Senate, while Reps. Lee Terry (R-Neb.) and Ben Quayle (R-Ariz.) said they were pulling their names from the companion House bill, the Stop Online Piracy Act."
--LA Times
"The House bill is on hold for now, and Sen. Patrick Leahy (D.-Vt.), who sponsored the Senate version, said he would be in favor of further research on provisions that have raised objections from Internet service providers. "
