| Even the pledge agrees with that. My issue with the pledge is the part that was added in the 50's. One nation under god. America according to the constitution is a nation that was founded on religious freedom. |

50 years ago, people where religious.
In the Declaration of Independence, "we pledge our lives, fortunes, and SACRED honor"
Religion was implied here. Religion is only human nature, no matter what it is. |

| Touche. I still think it should be removed. Just like swearing on the bible. What if you don't believe in the Whole christian/jewish/catholic god? xD As an atheist in court once said, "If you make me swear on that, I will lie to you." |

Most people in this world are religious.
Swearing on the Bible means a lot to a lot of Americans. |

PROBABLY the only way a true Democracy will happen in a country this big is if everyone was given an implant, and every issue that came up was directed in front of them, and then some supercomputer counts all the votes.
If you think about it, a true communism would also be a true Democracy.... |
