Author's Note: The plot of the role play slowly reveals itself as the role play progresses. So for now, I will provide basic details of the character sheet, NPCs, creatures, towns, etc. that you will find. This is still a role-play, but it will explain the history of the upcoming story.
When the sequel comes out, everyone must make brand new characters. ___________________________________________________________________________ Before I begin, I need to explain a few symbols I will use next to some of the names of the sub-topics. If you see "[!]IMPORTANT[!]", it is pretty straight forward. It means that topic is a MUST-READ. If you see "[CS]", this means that topic is talking about something that must be filled out in the Character Sheet, so it is somewhat important.
I strongly recommend you read everything. However, I know some of you will not do that. So I recommend that you at least read the topics that say "[!]IMPORTANT[!]". ___________________________________________________________________________ [CONTINENTS]
Ethitras (Eh-Thi-Trus) - The largest continent, it is the home of a wide variety of people. Most of the cities on Ethitras are located near the coast, though there are some scattered across the center. Near the center of Ethitras, the weather is harsh and dry. It is tough desert area. The coasts, however, present cool weather and easy trading.
Aquasaia (Ah-qua-shay-ya) - Unknown.
Pelyson (Peh-lee-sohn) - Unknown.
Byzevur (Bih-seh-voor) - An island off the coast of Ethitras. It is about the size of the Philippines today. Not much is known about it, since every adventurer that travels there takes an arrow to the knee. No, just kidding. But no adventurer has returned from Byzevur.
Mirygaea (Mir-ree-gai-ah) - Unknown.
Tiricova (Tir-ruh-co-va) - Unknown.
Euphevis (You-feh-vis) - Unknown.
Castinthica (Kah-Stin-Thi-Kah) - Unknown. ___________________________________________________________________________ [CITIES] Most of the cities in the world are unknown, until you explore them. I will only the city you are currently in.
City/Town: Stone Shire Continent: Ethitras Stone Shire is a small town. It has small, stone walls surrounding the town, and its army is nothing but the town militia. Fishing and farming greatly supports their economy. The mayor, Norroar Songsteel, is a friendly man. ___________________________________________________________________________ [REPUTATION] This role play has something called reputation. You gain (or lose) reputation when you do a certain action. For example, helping a beggar would add to your 'Good' reputation, though killing an innocent man would add to your 'Evil' reputation, and deduct from your 'Good' reputation. Many of these choices will appear in quests, though it will not be directly revealed. ___________________________________________________________________________ [FOOD AND WATER] Food and water is necessary to survival. You can get food from dead animals, creatures, or even Humans. Water (or any other drink) can often be bought or stolen. ___________________________________________________________________________ [ATTRIBUTES AND FLAWS] [!]IMPORTANT[!] [CS] Every hero has a special attribute that adds to his or her skillsets. However, every hero also has a flaw. Superman is weak to Kryptonite, and Green Lantern is weak to Yellow Lanterns. However, Superman is extremely strong, and Green Lantern can make almost anything out of green light.
Attributes include physical improvements and mental improvements. Spells do not count as attributes.
Examples of Physical Attributes: - Increased Strength - Increased Speed - Increased Endurance
Examples of Mental Attributes: - Increased Wisdom - Increased Experience - Increased Intelligence ___________________________________________________________________________ [SKILLS] [!]IMPORTANT[!] [CS] On your character sheet, you will see something called "Strength:", "Dexterity:", "Wisdom:", etc. For these fields, I will roll dice for you. Please ask me to roll your stats. The way I roll your stats is by rolling 4 six-sided dice, and adding the greatest 3 values. ___________________________________________________________________________ [ALIGNMENT] [CS] Your character would have some moral judgement, though everyone is different. Your character can be Evil, Bad, Neutral, Good, or Lawful. They are pretty straight forward, though I recommend you do NOT select Evil or Bad, as your character's personality must relate to this. If you have an evil character, that character might interfere with the role play by being rude to the other players. Even though it does not affect the actual player, it will affect the role play greatly. So, please, try not to use Evil or Bad. ___________________________________________________________________________ [RULES] [!]IMPORTANT[!]
1) Respect other players 2) No godmodding/Keep things realistic 3) Romance must be kept at a minimal level 4) Put "Hidden" in "Other" 5) Follow the basic forum rules 6) Ignore trolls and flamers 7) What an admin says, goes 8) You can have up to ONE character 9) Only 6 people will be allowed to join the role-play, unless the number of people joining reaches at least 10. If it reaches at least 10, I will select the top 2 character sheets to join the role-play. ___________________________________________________________________________ [RACES] [CS]
There are several races that can be found throughout this role playing world.
[Human] The Humans are a spirited race. Their hopes and goals are high, though they have many flaws. Humans are very greedy. They long to be the richest person in the world. However, some of them are brilliant. They are always seeking new information, but are, at the same time, afraid of the unknown.
[Elf] The Elves are an old, but elegant, race. Their swordsmen fight with such elegance, it seems like a prepared dance. Their archers are skillful with a bow & arrow, and can hit a rat from a mile away. The Elves, however, are very fragile, and can't take very much punishment.
[Ork] The Orks are a tough, stubborn race. Though they are very strong, they lack intelligence. There has never been a legendary Ork mage, due to this flaw. Orks are excellent axemen and can chop down a thick tree in one swing. They are slow, but can wear heavy armour and wield the heaviest of weapons.
[Golem] Golems were made long ago by someone unknown. They are a mechanical race. They must drink oil, but can eat and drink normal food at the same time. Depending on how they were built, they can be very skilled at magic, swordsmanship, marksmanship, etc. However, due to their lack of completeness, if they are good at one thing, they are often very bad at two or more things.
[Aquitiel] The Aquitiel are a race that have been here long before any other. They are the masters of the sea. Aquitiel often have fish-shaped faces, containing gills. They are skilled with spears, tridents, and any weapon related. Underwater, they slowly heal, and they can breathe. However, if they are hurt during the healing process, they cannot heal for a week.
[Dwarf] Dwarves are another old race, probably just a few decades older than the Elves. Many Dwarves live high in the snowy mountaintops, mining for treasure. Dwarves are as greedy as Humans, but are much more steady. They have uncontested balance and can wield heavy weapons and armour.
[Saints] The divine race, sent down to this world by a god. They are often pure white, and have feathery wings. They don't have halos like those stereotypical angels. They are great healers, and are skilled with a sword or hammer. ___________________________________________________________________________ [SPECIALIZATION] [CS]
There are some specializations that your character can have. However, they can only have up to one.

Note: Some of the sheets are different than others. Read them carefully. I intentionally left out "A/ge:" for the Saint Sheet.

Although he is slim, he has a somewhat muscular figure for a young elf. Personality: He is loyal but naive. He is very nice, social and doesen't hold a long grudge. [Human Sheet] Name: Cody Smith A/ge (16-55): 16 Height (5'6-6'3): 5'8 Weight (100-200): 105 General Appearance: Cody has messy brown hair and Is quite small for his age but with a small size come good speed. Cody had light brown eyes and 2 scars on both sides under the armpits. Personality: Cody can be shy at times but once you know him he's usually a happy kind of guy Bio: Cody was raised by his mother and at his early childhood it seemed fine . . . untill his mother died when Cody was 14. He now lives alone and trys not to talk about his mothers death that much. Other then that hes always happy and ready for a challenge Strength: 14 Dexterity: 1 Wisdom: 15 Specialization: Close. Combat Attribute & Flaw: Cody's attribute is that he can escape for a enemy quickly but his flaw is that Cody he is not the quite type for sneeking up on someone Alignment: Good |
