"Cure" aging.
Can't believe how afraid of aging/death people are..
By the way this reminds me of a book I read in Elementary School where a bunch of researchers developed an elixir to make animals smarter and live longer, and tested them on mice, and the mice grew smart enough and escaped and could talk and stuff. I wasn't Planet of the Apes type smarter, but like this kind of smarter. THAT CHILDRENS AUTHOR PREDICTED THE FUTURE ZOMG

| If people don't die then overpopulation will become a real problem. |

I mean, if I could be immortal... I would be without a second thought. To watch the magnificent progression of the universe, from beginning to end... to live through disease and evolution. To jump from the tallest buildings, to watch the world age. But, an entire species being immortal? No. Even with immortality, colonization of space would still take too long, and the ultimate need of evolution would fade, we would cease progression. We, as humans, fear death. For it is something we have yet to understand, something unclear, that states an ultimate ending to an unsure beginning. Are we forced to replay an eternal cycle of being born, dying, etc? Is there a great, heavenly kingdom, unmatched in glorious beauty, with a horrid under world lead by cursed Hades? Or is there nothing? We will never know, knowing is impossible. So, we seek to avoid it. We instinctively fear the unknown, Excluding those of us who seek new borders, to break boundaries. We can fight aging, but we will never stop it. |
