OK, first, I am not spamming. I'm trying to edit crossbow's idea to make it somewhat more efficient. I want to make sure that if some kind of delete an inactive account update is made, that this is here to help the mods see the logic behind crossbow's idea so accounts don't get pointlessly deleted.
--How it Works--
OK, so let's say you were going on a year-long vacation to another state. You still want to see your ROBLOX account when you get back, right? Well of course you do! So this idea will help you keep your account if you go on a long vacation.
So here is how it would work. There would be a new button in the Account Tab on My ROBLOX. It would say "Deactivate your account". When you click it, there are some options. The question is "Why are you leaving, or how long will you be gone?" The options are:
1: There are too many spammers and exploiters on ROBLOX. I may come back. 2: I have outgrown this game. 3: This is only temporary. I'll be back. 4: I'm leaving permanently.
If you selected option 1, your account will be given a year, then it will be deleted. If you selected option 2, your account will be deleted after 3 months. If you selected option 3, a time chart will come up. It will say:
1 week. 1 month. 2-6 months. 1 year. 2 years.
If you do not log in before this timespan expires, you will be given a week, and then you may be either temporarily deactivated for another month, or be deleted.
Finally, if you selected 4, your account will be deleted immediately. Your games will stay, but your account will no longer exist so ROBLOX can make room for more new users. |

Add-on: If your account is deleted, your name will be saved, but is still valid to be used for a new user. If you wish to re-join, you e mail the moderators with your name and they can either:
Reply back and say they have re-activated you, or Reply back, but change your username by a different number of letter, because your username has been taken. |

@pretty
Sure, I guess. But I've never seen my parents deactivate their account. Sorta like that. |

No need for all that. All you need is, "I am leaving permanently," and "I am leaving only temporarily."
I actually edited crossbow's idea in his thread, but I made the automatic account deletion idea more efficient, not the manual account deletion.
What I don't like about this is people might forget to deactivate their account, or they're too afraid to because they're afraid they'll lose their account (they might think that if they put "6 months" as how long they'll be gone, and they come back after 6 months and 1 day, they'll lose their account), and it's a lot better to have a heavily secure automatic account removal system.
You can read about it by scrolling to the bottom of crossbow's thread and reading my post.
What I do have to say is, going away from ROBLOX for a long time without a single second that you can spare to go online is very unlikely. There's Internet everywhere now, in libraries, phones, computers (of course), so I highly doubt anyone's leaving for a really really long time and can't access ROBLOX. |

@Recruit
Unless you go to a really old house. A lot of people I know don't have computers. |

@mikey
Like I said, you don't need to have a desktop or a laptop anymore to go on the Internet. iPads, iPhones, restaurants with free Wi-Fi, libraries, schools, all have Internet now. I have five devices in this house which can access Internet. |
