I have noticed. I've also noticed, though, that governments are corrupt, and that large corporations prefer low-wage unskilled labor. ___ But flying in the face of both of those facts, labor conditions have been getting better and better worldwide. |

Not in Taiwan or the US. These changes in labor conditions are usually brought about by unions, as well as by non-corrupt government officials.
Two things China is lacking. |

| Taiwan and the US don't need to improve labor conditions. |

The US's labor conditions have been deteriorating. The only countries where labor conditions are better are other first world countries, and the countries in the developing world, whose labor conditions have been improving.
As for Taiwan http://www.humantrafficking.org/updates/473 http://focustaiwan.tw/ShowNews/WebNews_Detail.aspx?ID=201105010015&Type=aIPL
This is still ignoring the fact that we don't require the mass amounts of work done in the world, and that we can house, feed, educate and provide medical care to every living human being on Earth while doing a fraction of the work we are now. The current mode of production is flawed, and blaming the greed of the capitalist on the government is an example of flawed logic. |
