I told her " What is 'x' equaled a number divided by zero "

I avoid talking about imaginary numbers, division by zero, and infinity because the discussions are ensue are always distinctly non-mathematical.
I have gotten some unamused stares from my stats teacher I gave the answer "eighty sevenths" to "What is 80 divided by 7?". No one else in my classes likes fractions as much as I do... |

If I were in your class, I would choose fractions and/or mixed numbers over decimals any day. |
