So in Language Arts the other day, we learned about a few storys that actually made sence to me.
1.) A little boy goes into a Coffee shop and asks the clerk for a table. He gets the table and says, "How much is a a Sunday"? The girl replies, "50 cents". The boy stops and counts his coins. He stairs at it with a blank expression. The waitress is getting mad now, because there is a line behind him. Finally the boy says, "How much is plain Ice Cream". The girl replies, "35 cents". The boy takes the ice cream, eats it, and leaves. The girl was crying when he left.
The boy had saved enough money to tip the clerk, instead of buying the better Ice Cream.
2.) A little girl is slowly dying from a rare disease, and she has not a big chance of surviving without blood. The only person with her blood is her younger brother, who was 5. The doctor slowly asks him, "Would you like to donate blood to save your sister". The boy stops and thinks, and he replies with a big smile and a yes.
The girl is laying in the bed, and he comes up to her. He says, "I'm donating the blood". Both stared at each other, and smiled. Soon the doctor comes in the room, and the little boy asks him, "When will I star to die"?
The little boy thought he had to donate ALL of his blood to save his sisters life. |
