So, I'm working on a class-based game inspired by a TF2 map, in which each of 2 teams has to drive a truck while attacking the opponent team.
Classes so far are: Commando (all-around class, fairly versatile), Heavy (defensive class, wields a Minigun and is pretty slow), Medic (heals people), Engineer (builds Sentries, health dispensers, etc.), Sniper (snipes :P) and Spy (May turn partially invisible, main weapon is a knife that 1 hit KOs on lung attack).
My question is more about the weapons than anything, should I aim to use realistic weapons (i.e. assault rifles, etc.), or use mostly existing ROBLOX Gear and BrickBattle weapons for a more "cartoony" style? Give me your thoughts please. |

I take it the commando is a soldier-based-thing? Also, which map are you referencing? Or is it your own? You should have a pyrotechnician class, if you can, and make the weapons realistic. |

The Commando is more of my own class actually. He has slightly above average HP but lower speed, so he is like the Soldier in that way. Differences are that he wields an Assault Rifle, a Medkit that he may use on himself and my own item, the Rush Potion* which lets him become faster, though weaker.
The map is Wacky Races, there's many gameplay videos of it in Youtube.
Pyro class might be good, but I don't really want to clutter the game with classes and a Flamethrower would kill everyone inside the truck. :P But oh well, I could see if I can balance it later.

Oh yes, and more people in/around the payload make it go faster. cwutididthar |

| Hah. What I thought for speed bonuses is, the longer the driver stays alive, the faster the truck goes. |

Close enough. And for the pyro class, make the flamethrower do minimal damage. |

| Yep, most damage should be afterburn damage (doesn't the Flamethrower gear do this?) and if you're on fire you can get near a Dispenser or call a Medic, or simply wait. |

| Right, but dont do airblasting. Probably way too complex scripting, unless you're 'good enough'. |

| Not like there'd be any point to airblasting, no projectile/explosive weapons and pushing people wouldn't do much either. |

>airblasting complex
make transparent brick(wider than character size) fly in one direction and push other players. make it disappear after like, a half second and shoot it at 90 velocity.
