I- Bases II- Teams and Spawning III- Weapons IV- Vehicles V- Appendix
This is the Official rulebook of raids and raiding, by shred1894.
I--- Bases
All bases must have 2 ways for raiders to get in besides the gate, or the gate must remain open during the entire raid.*1
Any Base that does not follow these guidelines is not raidable, and must be labeled as such.
II--- Teams and Spawning
All Defenders must be on the defending team at all times, and all attackers must be on the attacking team at all times. All neutral people must be on the neutral team at all times, and all allies must be on the ally team at all times.*2
Spawn camping/killing is not allowed at any time. Any spawn killing results in the team that spawn killed to lose. Spawn camping results in the team that spawn camped to lose.*3
All people must spawn in a place where they are in sufficient cover. The cover must prevent any team from seeing the other team's spawn or enemies who spawn there.
III--- Weapons
All Teams must spawn with fair armament. All teams must have equal ability to get better armament in any event where there is potential to get better armament. Any event where there is unfair armament will result in the defending team to auto lose.*4
IV--- Vehicles
Any base that has vehicles must have the vehicles placed fairly so both all teams have access to evenly matched vehicles. Any violation of this rule results in defending team auto lose.*5
V--- Appendix
*1- The raid entrances must not be what is considered an obby, or the base has to be labeled unraidable.
*2- No Visitor raiding, no visitor or raider defending.
*3- The attackers must be able to get 50 studs away from the room or cave that they spawn in before being attacked.
*4- If the defenders get a sniper rifle and automatic rifle, the attackers must get an equivalent. If the attackers get a pistol, the defenders must get an equivalent.
*5- If the defenders get a helicopter, the attackers must have an equivalent, if the raiders get a tank, the defenders must get an equivalent |

| Part II is to prevent team switching, and to prevent spawn camping/killing, all the notes in the appendix provide details in the marked areas |

>implying that if the defenders start with a helicopter and a tank then the attackers should get a tank and helicopter as well
That is completely ridiculous. Clan bases are not brickbattles where each party is balanced. They are fortifications. Fortifications are likely to be far better equipped than a small camp set outside for raiders. |

| I am not saying no fortifications, I am just saying both sides need to be equipped. |

Silly rules. Ruins the game, challenge and fun set behind advantages. I'd hate to be able to walk into a place, with the exact same as the other team. Melikez disadvantaging and winning. More of a feeling behind it. :) |

| I have seen a lot of bases where the attackers get a pistol, and the defenders get sniper rifles and such. |

| Methink someone hath too many WO's and failed raids. Most bases I've seen that are dubbed 'raidable' are also easy to win if you have the skill. :) |

You can't make raid rules. Yeah, So what if you get a pistol? If you have the skill you can take the base.
The enemy may have Vehicles, so what? They may get snipers. Idc. They may get Overpowered guns. Guess what, IDC.
You're just going to get trolled for posting this as 'Official Amended Rules of Raiding' |

Both sides do NOT need to be equally equipped, though.
Since raiding is a short-term affair, raiders are going to take the bare minimum they need to take the base, and that is not going to include an armoury of rocket launchers and a tank. Defenders, on the other hand, have a PERMANENT fort which is kept going by regular supplies of weapons and reinforcements with supply trucks and/or supply drops. We can also assume that this fort is not being constantly attacked, so they will have time to have tanks and other vehicles either brought in or even made on the premises. Therefore, we can assume that defenders will be infinitely more well equipped than raiders, which is why it's the raiders job to exploit the weaknesses of the defenders with inferior firepower rather than the entire raid being a walk in the park by a particularly skilled raider and his vast array of weaponry (which may not be able to be countered even with the same equipment). |
