| I love how someone suggested that Europe go hundreds of miles away to utilise what's pretty much the least efficient means of producing electricity on a large scale right now, and instead of discussing how stupid of an idea that is, we're discussing the difficulty in transporting such electricity which would be unrealistically expensive anyway. |

| Lets say it was generating 100 000kW, the loss that would occure in a 1000km@40kv cable would be 49 00kW so it would lose almost half of the energy on its way, voltage could be upped though. |
