Slayzo Makinta. Welcome to History ISRP, Before we get into the action, please answer a few questions.
Fighting style- Infantry:Standard equipment as normal soldiers, one main firearm with a pistol and some grenades. Sniper:Equipped with a sniper, a sidearm and some grenades. Support Gunner:Equipped with a machine gun, a sidearm, an RPG, and grenades. Engineer:Can repair and drive vehicles, equipped with a submachine gun, a sidearm, grenades, and explosives. Spec Ops: Customizable. Pilot:Can fly jets, helicopters, etc. Equipped with only a sidearm. ^^ Obviously some of this will change as the game progresses
Ethnicity: (White, Black, etc)
Nationality: (What country you are from)
Background: Are you from a poor family, Middle class, upper class, or noble? (Noble is just basically the richest of the rich) This has more of an effect than JUST money.
Bio:(Explain you're childhood basically, has an actual effect on the game)
Finally how o.l.d are you now? (Must be at least 16. Younger the a.ge, worse the skill you start out with in combat. 18 is much more superior to 16 in terms of skill however)

Caucasian Support gunner, from Germany, now living in America, at the age of 29. He is from a middle class family, making medium wage off of factory wages, to support him and his sister as children. He is now middle-upper class thanks to his yearly military wages, sending around 2000 dollars to his family each year, supporting his sister, who is now a single mother, and his father who has developed radiation poisoning from a factory accident, and his mother is now under quaruntine as well, with her being where she was taking care of him at home, after the leakage, not knowing of the contamination of herself and the house.
Slayzo is a developed fighter, beginning his training at the age of 16 in ROTC, beginning his real training at 18, getting into his first missions at the age of 20, working his way to now.
I believe that covers everything here, No? |

Pick a mercenary organization to start out in.
Phoenix- A group of mercenaries straight out of USA for the most part, the most elite mercenary group you could ever find available. Best training, best equipment, but definitely not one of the biggest. They focus on skill over numbers and therefore they currently still have under a thousand members, even with their reputation. (Their Rep should have them at least 3000 mercs by now but the training is too difficult for most people to even withstand)
AeroCorp-A company that produces aircraft, for the most part and sells them to nations, they also dip their hands into the world of Private Military Organizations and take on contracts to fight. Not one of the most skilled but well equipped and VERY wealthy. Will definitely give good money for contracts.
Maximum-A fully-blown PMC looking to become the world's biggest PMC and take over the contracts industry completely, they will do whatever they can to get to the top and have many numbers in their ranks but don't have the best equipment yet have the training to make up for it. (Twice the members they should have for their rep)
^ These are the PMCs/Merc groups that will accept you at the moment. There are more but these are your best choices for now.

They have two major HQs. You start in the American HQ by default (It's the biggest by far) But there is also an HQ in Germany that isn't as well equipped, manned, or protected.
Do you want to start in the American HQ?

"Welcome to Phoenix HQ. We like to call this The Phoenix Spire." A man said that was showing around, as you had just been recruited.
The Phoenix Spire was a very large building located in NYC. It was built in the shape of a phoenix and had a complex build system. It was built out of the strongest metals known to man and was constantly improving. It towered over most other buildings in the city and was becoming the pride of the entire state.
The man handed you a map, showing you where your personal room was, and where the Cafe was, the armory, the training room, the mission board, etc. "Are there any questions?" The man asked, trying to get you settled in.

"Obviously no harming any other people unless its an arranged honorable duel. We have an arena for that actually. No stealing or anything like that. The Phoenix Spire is a nation within itself. We do not abide by US laws here. Most substances are not illegal yet they are frowned upon. Any rules, should be obvious however." he said.

Would you like to go to the mission board first? Perhaps the armory or the training room to see if you can afford anything yet? The bank to check your balance?
(You have yet to receive the standard gear for your first mission, so the armory is really low priority at the moment)

I probably haven't even earned a budget yet, and I don't even have my standard gear, so I guess I better see what the mission board has.
I leave for the mission board. |

(There is a signup but its a bit late. I'm probably only making one more of these)
Here are two MAJOR missions. If you do not want either of these, you can ask for some MINOR missions instead.
Mission 1-There are increasing tensions between the US/Iraq and Iran forces in the middle east and mercenaries are being hired to take jobs from the US/Iraq commanders and the citizens in order to try to cool things down between both sides to prevent a war from breaking out. The pay depends on the jobs you take plus an unspecified bonus once you come back. If done correctly, you'll gain reputation with the US/Iraq governments, maybe more or less depending on your actions. The pay varies completely. (This is a campaign, there will be many missions in this)
Mission 2-In New York City and Long Island, there is a gang, 'The Ensnares'. What they do is have a group of people mug someone, but have another group show up and swear to protect the guy if they give them their money. If they refuse, they just mug the guy all together. Recently they've reached a few hundred members, and have gone to 'war' with a gang in Cortlandt Manor, New York. This gang is called 'Eastside'. Eastside is just a gang of people that fights anyone that looks at them wrong. A bunch of criminals and jerks put together in one.
They are both looking for new members to help beat the opposite gang, and promise to pay well if you help. However, the police have a similar contract out now, to help them hunt down and arrest both of these gangs. Pick a side and take this contract.
Eastside promises loyalty to whoever puts an official end to this war. (May help if you're looking to make your own mercenary corp, or lead an army of some sort) Eastside will also pay 60 thousand dollars for help.
The Ensnares will pay 120 thousand dollars for whoever helps them beat Eastside. (No loyalty, just money.)
The police will pay 400 thousand dollars to whoever helps them arrest/eliminate BOTH gangs. (Just money. no loyalty obviously, but you will gain good rep with the US government)

Mission 2, siding with the police. Hopefully Mission 1 campaign will still be available, after I return. If not, I can find something else to do.
I head to where I need to go. |

After you go to claim the mission at the desk, they look it over. "Alright just so you know, Siding with the police in this Is the second hardest out of all these options. The hardest is The Ensnares because they aren't good fighters and barely have any weapons. Then the police because you have to deal with both gangs. Then the easiest is with Eastside because they're armed, and you only have to worry about The Ensnares. You sure you wana side with the police? The police are probably the best armed out of the bunch though."
(Basically a way of confirming the action =P)

You arrive and ask around for advice. You receive a few words of advice.
"Eastside would have been better. You coulda had your own posse at your back whenever wherever. But if you're siding with the police, don't do all their dirty work. You're taking on two gangs. Save your ammo. Share the burden."
"The Ensnares are unfindable except when they're in the act of the crime. Don't just go walking around with cops or you'll never be able to finish them off and you'll just fail your contract."
"Don't be afraid to loot the things you need. From the living, or the dead. From an enemy...or otherwise."
"Try to make some friends during the contract. They'll come in handy in times you'd never expect."
That is all the advice you have for now. Do you wish to go anywhere or get started on your mission?
