Yes it is. At least at it's current state, it may get better later on.
SFML 1.6: Works ok on Ubuntu, refuses to open on Windows 7 with ATI card, periodically freezes on Mac OS X Lion SFML 2.0: Changed a huge part of its API so it was a pain to port, refuses to open on Mac OS X Lion and is slow on Ubuntu
SFML is a nice project and all, it just doesn't have enough testing and isn't backed up by big projects as SDL.
Meh, meh. I think I'll just switch to SDL; it's much more reliable from what I've seen. |

*Has an ATI card that SFML works fine with*
Lies. Besides, 2.0 isn't released officially yet. |

| IDK what's up with your computer, but it farts in my face when I attempt to start it on my Windows desktop which uses an ATI Radeon whatever card. |

| There's a certain dll file you can put into an sfml exe's directory that fixes the issue. There's a thread somewhere on their forum. |

| No, I've put the required dlls in the directory. It doesn't error anything, it just refuses to start. Even Laurent stated that SFML 1.6 is known to have problems with Windows PCs with ATI cards. |

| Dunno. Haven't tried it because SMFL works for me. (Although I haven't had the time to do anything besides a few tiny things with it) |

It used to work for me when I only used it for Ubuntu. Now I need to find an alternative. D:
Wasn't Stravant talking about a graphics library he really liked? What was it called? |

| Allegro is older than my grandma's petunias. Try GLFW, it's the most flexible solution. It basically hides the ugly parts of OpenGL and lets you focus on cool stuff. |

GLFW sucks elderberries. I tried it for some time and was way less than impressed.
SDL seems to be nice. I think I'll try that, unless Stravant pops up to tell us the name of his favorite graphics library. |

| But cost money, I think. Personally, I used SFML (yeah right. I never bothered with going past the default program). But now I have Lion, so I'll have to test it out again... |
