Part 1: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=60886077 Part 2: http://www.roblox.com/Forum/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=60887115
*Warning long post*
*I'll be addressing the issues of Vak as I personally have seen them. I've submitted these ideas to General Pyro and he instructed me to go through with posting them to the forums for further evaluation, and so, here they are.*
Many Vaktovians want to see change.
Varying from no longer shutting down clans, or starting to be more open.
But we musn't stray from what made us who we are.
We can remain strict.
We can keep shutting down clans.
We can keep being reclusive.
But some values, we've already violated.
1. Before we became mainstream, we had a policy that no traitors would be let into Vak if they left.
We used to have a One Chance policy.
If you screw that chance up, boom, you're gone, forever.
Not a week.
Not a month.
For-ever.
Now, what's become a problem recently is some soldiers feel as though they have a 'safety net', that they can leave Vak for some other group, and if things don't work out there they can return for their original rank. They feel this way for any number of reasons. They're friends with high-ranks, they're friends with generals, or just lying saying they 'clicked the left-group button'.
The problem is they are right.
It seems we've become so desperate for talent that when a talented soldier leaves, we're willing to accept them again, at whatever the cost.
2. We also used to have a rule, never to kill another Vaktovian.
Now I'm not talking about petty dules between one another to kill time.
I'm talking about full-fledged fights at bases because one little fool hates the other.
And then the high-ranks must get involved and usually pick a side, instead of uniting them to the common cause, telling them we're on the same side, just splitting us even further.
It's completely absurd.
3. Most of our soldiers have become more loyal to themselves than they are to the Empire. Constantly seeking promotions, fame, or glory. It used to be when a soldier even HINTED at asking for a promotion, they'd be demoted. No questions asked.
Of course some of us may view this as extreme. But as I look back on it, it promoted the right point of view.
That rank does not matter.
That we should be glad to be in Vak in the first place.
And as for how to solve the problems I mentioned,
1. Re-enact the One Chance policy. If someone feels they no longer need Vak. We no longer need them. Should they come back for any reason for their leaving in any manner they left, betrayal or respectful, they should be denied on the spot, for the most part the general's do this. But not to the fullest extent.
2. Conducte disciplinary action against any Vak that kills another Vak except for where, the Vak is defending themselves, They are killing someone who is openly betraying Vak, or they are simply messing around, such as a duel or a joke.
3. Demote any Vak that asks for a promotion. At all. Work on reinstating an 'Imperial' view of Vak. Where we should be selfless for the greater good of the Empire. Not for our individual selves.
The time of bickering and indecision HAS to end. Now.
I've proposed the best course of action for Vak that I can see.
But there are more than just the problems I mentioned.
However, should these problems be solved, I believe the rest will fall into place.
And should they not, we can adapt to fix the problems as we are now. |

| You know, I agree with you for all that you've posted. But the officers don't care enough to enforce it. Let alone the fact that Pyro's been hitting that accept all butotn again, so some pretty cruddy people have been getting in. Values are NOT an easy thing to teach and enforce, as you might want to put it onto the teachers first. |

@Tober,
I realize the teachers wouldn't be the best.
Hence the Officer Academy.
If we can get what's left of our good officers, they can train the next generation,
and consequently, go back to our values. |

| I honestly wish you luck with this. I don't believe that there'll be enough officers to find. I mean, some like HeroOfSkill and Proevil perhaps, but it's gonna be a pretty rough search |

| Of course. I just hope the Generals and Vaktus will have the same mindset, instead of slapping your wrist and saying "Oh the officers are such a minor problem it can be ignored" |

@Tober,
From what I've heard from talking with Devil, he agrees with the propositions and is giving them his support. |
