I hate roblox for this kind of thing. If you close of a room from the outside, it is still light. To make it dark you have to change brightness or time. But then everything turns dark.
There is not way which i know which can do this so that certain areas can be lighter than others. Sorry but i dont know. |

Well, disco rooms usually use ambient.
Change that around, and it looks pretty cool. |

When I want a disco-ish effect, I use the ColorShift_Top property to give the place a lighted effect.

| ColorShift_ property? Hmm, I never used that property in lighting. Can you give me a simple example what it does? |

It tints the top and two side-faces of all the bricks by the color. So if you cycled through colors such as blue, green, red, yellow, etc; it would give the effect of diso lights shining on them. But a roof, for example, would remain the same color as you can only see the unaffected underside of the brick.
