Well, if you want to build very good heres some things you must know.
Where to find Roblox Studios? Well, Roblox Studios is already downloaded when you downloaded the Roblox Application. All you need to do is to find where you saved or what file you saved Roblox Studios.
What about the Normal Roblox Browser? I can just insert things there... Since the Roblox Staff, admins, etc have updated ROBLOX, you used to be able to build in the normal Roblox Browser back then. You didn't actually need to go to Roblox Studios to build. But now, it all disappeared. Building on the Roblox browser right now, is completely boring and dull. You could only insert stuff.
Do building in Roblox Studios -> Build Mode/Edit Mode.
Build Mode: Is the mode which you can build along with your avatar.
Edit Mode: Unlike Build mode, In Edit mode you cannot see your avatar or the absence of it. You build while in Fly mode. Which is very useful to get to tight areas when you build.
~Getting Started~ Basic tools you must know: Clone Tool - This tool clones a single brick.
Part Dragger - Drags a single brick.
Delete Tool - Deletes a single brick. The new Delete tool in Roblox deletes a whole model or grouped bricks. It's till useful though.
You can get these basic tools in Free Models "Basic Building Tools".
Tools in Roblox Studios:
Drag: Similar to the Part Dragger, this tool drags a whole model or grouped bricks/parts.
Move on Axis: This tool selects a part and a model but its main function is to move a part or model by its axis. In other words, you can move a brick/model by moving it to the left, right, up and down.
Resize: Resizes a normal bricks length and height.
Lock: This tool locks a brick which means you can't drag/delete/resize/move on axis.
Anchor: Makes bricks not affected by gravity (lawl) in other words, bricks can't fall. Or affected by explosions.
Fill with Color: Lets you paint bricks with varied colors.
Pick Color: Lets you copy a color of a different brick to other brick.
Change Material: Lets you change the type of brick you want such as, Grass, Slate, Ice, etc.
~Others:
Grouping/Ungrouping: Use the Drag tool you select lots of bricks by holding the left click and make a huge square on a desired area. Then once selected, press ctrl+G. Ungrouped it by pressing ctrl+U. to group
Move Parts Tool: This is actually the most useful dragger tool. You can set what size of a stud you can have such as 1 Stud grid, 1/5 Stud grid, and Off grid.
Rotate Parts: You can rotate bricks/parts with the use of the Stud grids.
Resize Parts: Still, you can resize bricks/parts with the use of Stud grids.
Cframing: Cframing is the use of bricks going into other bricks. Cframing is so useful, it makes your place epic. Pros on Cframing use the Command Bar. I don't actually know how to use the Command bar but please, do learn the Command bar from others. But right now, use the Cframe tool since your stll a beginner.
I hope this helps! |

| I would recommend getting better grammar first, that would help. |

| well, if you ment scripting, you must have good grammar, otherwise you will fail with everything. With building, you must have some fantasy. |

someone just made a quad post. impressive...
anyway, the only thing there is to constructing is resizing, coloring, cloning, and moving. Telamon made this video in 2008, but it still gives an idea of how easy building is if you know these basic features. you can use Ctrl+C to clone objects then Ctrl+V to paste them, R to rotate objects and T to tilt them.
the game features some surfaces for bricks, and it can be interesting to check their properties:
Smooth bonds to nothing but Weld and Glue. Studs form a bond with Weld, Universal, Glue and Inlets. Inlets bind themselves to Studs, Glue, Universal and Weld Welds connect to everything. Universal connects with everything but Smooth surfaces. Glue simply glues to all surfaces, but has a very weak bond.
