Plot: A group of mages, The Violet Strand, have been experimenting with a new form of magic that they have discovered. It is not one of the elements, nor is it part of the Arcane Law (the law that dictates that all magic must be, in some way, related to a real life substance or item). It is magic that allows one to change, or combine, living matter. In other words, it can be used to deform or combine two living things together to create a new one. To test their magic, they ventured out in the middle of the night, and performed their rituals to turn certain people into mutants. They have begun planning ways to use this new magic to create a being that can crush entire cities in minutes, that towers over the tallest mountains, and can strike fear into the hearts of Gods and Goddesses alike, to take over the world for themselves. You can either stop them or help them reach their goal, it's entirely up to you to decide.

Races:
Please note: Below is a list of cosmic proportions. About a cubic ton of black letters were used to create this list. If you value your sanity, then skim the list, and only read those that interest you. The other 300 men who made this thread made the races, not me (xilirite), and about a quarter of them are references to other series. I apologize in advance, but take solace in this: The class list is slightly shorter.
Humans: Does this need explanation? ._. Ikea: These are humanoid creatures with blue skin. They are known for their high intellegence levels and the ability to talk with Gods. They are slightly sinewous, and have semi-transparent skin.
Sha: Magical creatures, their attire is usually a leaf skirt and a bark shirt. They are one with nature (basically shamans). Their main priorities are to keep Mother Nature at peace, and to stop people from demolishing forests, hunting animals, etc.. (vegans)
Sprites: Small beings with light blue skin and wings. They love to play tricks on unsuspecting travelers.
Biorn: They are a nomadic race of people that roam the lands. They usually cause no trouble, but are known to be fierce fighters. They have dark skin, and a somewhat humanoid shape, except for the large horns on the heads of adult males. They are also abnormally tall compared to humans.
Dedaics: Evil beings from the Negative Universe world. They are the complete opposite from us, and wield the power to bend the darkness around them. Their main and primary enemy is the Paladin, since the Paladins are of light. The two clash together violently at times.
Wyls: Humanoid creatures born with the ability to adapt to different environments.
Murlocs: Beings with a fish-like tail instead of legs. They live underwater, and are like fish. They have small gills on the side of their necks to breathe too.
Changeling: Humanoid creatures with no real face. They can mimic anything they see or hear by changing their genetic make-up to be identical.
Asmodeans: Dark beings that walk the earth, constantly trying to lure people into doing things for him/her. They are able to taint the hearts of the pure if the victim is mentally weak enough. (They cannot do anything pyshically and can only hurt you if you allow them to do so).
Astryls: Humanoid creatures born from the light itself. They battle alongside the Paladin whenever they are up against the Asmodeus and Dedaics. They can fight the humans' will to do evil things when tainted by the Asmodeans.
Gnomes: Small humanoid creatures, born with an inevitable love for messin' around and tinkering with items. They have technology unknown and unheard of to other creatures, and live in cave systems or small camps worldwide.
Dwarves: These creatures are very similiar to the gnomes. They are born a little bit taller though, and are much plumper. They also like tinkering, but not as much. They are world renowned for their craftmanship, quality in work, and mining.
Centaurs: These creatures are half-man, and half horse. They are very skilled in the field of archery, and can run very fast. They live in lush forests, and despise the humans, who have ruined nature. Do NOT call them humanoid, for they are not.
Gallies: Gallies are ghoul-like creatures with transparent bodies. They often allure other creatures toward them with their elegant beauty and perfectly harmonized voices. Beneath all their beauty, however, are sinister beings that feast upon the flesh of any creature they can get their claw-like hands on due to their carnivorous eating habits.
Kryllion: The Kryllion have very large beaks that are alarming, long, and reasonably sharp. They have a poison gland on the roof of their mouths, which they use to poison its prey after skewering it with it's beak. It has sharp, orange eyes, and a leathery spike, which they vibrate at high frequencies to communicate with other Kryllion. They have four legs, each pair serving a specific purpose. The front legs are tipped with large talons, made for gripping and tearing, that they hook into their prey to drag it to the ground. Their back legs are made for running on land at high speeds, making take off easier. They have long, sinewy tails, tipped with several long feathers. The feathers can be drawn back, revealing a long spike, tipped in the same poison as the beak. Their entire bodies are covered in feathers, and are often primary colours, although they're very dull and almost always multi coloured. They are mostly red, with streaks of blue in the back and front, and smaller streaks of yellow throughout. (Admins only)
Slau: They possess a bird's body, that looks like a reptile's in a way. They have very dry skin, that is sometimes rough. Their wings are like a dragon's too. Most of them have green wings, but some have a red color to it. They have four skinny green legs, with talons. It's head is more like an Eagle's, with white hairy top part, and a brown lower part. They do not have a beak though, pretty much like any reptiles mouth, it does have teeth that are very sharp. They have a long, slimey tail, but it actually helps them fly.
Taron: Tarons are big, lizard-like reptiles. They have long necks like snakes, and short, grumpy heads. They are big enough for people to ride on. They have huge, birdlike wings on their backs, and the tips of their tails have feathers. Their feet are like the talons of a bird. They are usually coloured grey, beige, or pale green. They have the ability to climb upside down, and they're fast on land, but clumsy and weak in the air, making them more of a mount for invasions. Tarons can also carry vehicles, such as jeeps or small tanks, using their back legs, as well as their front legs, as hands.
Kurna: The Kurna look like huge, awkward birds.They are rather ugly beasts, that fly and resemble a pterodactyl with wide leathery wings and bony triangular heads. Their mouths are full of serrated shark teeth, row upon row of them, and their claws glint like straight blades. They have no eyes, only indentations on each side of their skulls. The wings end in razor-sharp ridges of bone. They burst apart when the Kurna dies, leaving a wisp of black smoke behind. The Kurna are generally used as mounts, although the certain females are much smaller than the males.
Gargoyle : Gargoyles has taloned fingers and is at least 9 feet tall. They have empty eye sockets, they smell bad, and have two rows of jagged, glass-sharp teeth. Their hide is grey with a texture like old stone. They have leathery grey wings, rarely suitable for agile flight, and gripping, tearing talons. Their faces are a grotesque example of the vile imagination used to create the creatures. They can produce a high pitched, annoying, loud laugh that can give other creatures headaches if exposed for too long.
Ciroc: The Ciroc are a relative of the Pheonix. They have sharp claws for gripping things, a long beak, and are about 5 feet tall. Their wingspan is roughly 2 feet. Their plumage is fiery red in colour, and their eyes are either red, yellow, or orange. When in combat, the Ciroc can light themselves on fire. Any melee weapons used against a burning Ciroc will have no effect, and the meleer will be left with a burnt hand. So, only ranged weapons can kill the Ciroc. If the Ciroc is dieing or captured, it will turn into a large fireball, leaving no trace of the Ciroc... or it's captors, what-so-ever.
Satyrs/Fauns: These creatures have the upper body of a man, and the lower body of a goat. They usually have horns on top of their heads, and live in forests. They are vegetarians, though they do eat objects such as tin and furniture.
Sune: The sunes are mystic creatures, and are humanoid. Their skin is bright orange, and their eyes are blood red. They can overheat their bodies and shoot out a blast of heat that could melt through the muscles of a human. They are very rare, and are found in deep forests.
Giants: Tall creatures that are said to be quite unintelligent, however are quite useful in many cases. Several human nations have used them for slave labor, heavy work, and the sorts. They can easily crush a foe that a normal human may have incredible difficulty killing. They stand at about 10-15 feet tall (3-5 meters tall).
Nymphs: Nymphs are creatures that are almost divine, minus the powers. Their unnatural beauty is quite mesmorizing at times. Nymphs are attached to one object in nature throughout their whole lives. An example would be a tree nymph. The tree nymph would be attached to a single tree their whole life. If they get sick, the tree is sick, is basically how their lives revolve. They are bound to protect that creature, for if one of them dies, the other does too.
Bliters: These are creatures of solid energy. when you look up at the sky at night, and see flashes of pure light, that is the Bliters playing around. They have no main significance, and do not care about the troubles that happen on earth. They are mostly immortal, but the one way to kill them is a secret that only Bliters themselves know. The only people that can actually communicate with the Bliters, are Mages or ArchMages.
Treants: Trees with humanoid features. They are very serene and tranquil, deciding against violence and rivalry. They rarely ever leave their forests unless it is absolutely necessary. But, in spite of that, they prefer to stay within the confinements of their forests in isolation.
Gryboans: These creatures are bulky, and are also short. They have a gargantuan mouth, which, when needed, produces a loud sound which can shatter the bones of any creature. Giants fear these creatures, in hopes that their bones won't be broken. Their skin is a dark purple, and they have poisonous yellow spikes riding up their back. They have flat feet with four large fingers that help grab onto stuff.
Hermonians: These creatures speak in a whispering tone and have swift movements. They have a talent for finding lost things, if given enough detailed information about the item. These are rare to find as they are usually hidden away from civilization. If you find one of these creatures, you could find rare and interesting items.
HyperBorea: These are the Frost-Giants of the civilization. They live in the coldest parts, their skin is an icy blue, and they have large patches of white fur scattered throughout their bodies. Their skin is "as rough as rock." Giants fear them, as they stand at 20-25 feet tall.
Pigu: These are pink pigs that shoot fire. Native to the mountains of the land, they are dangerous and very few dare to hunt them. They make a great pet, but can burn your house down. They're hunting animal though. Pigus also are resistant to cold due to their thick skin and high amounts of stored blubber. Pigus can run very fast, and are Sacred animals of Yoghoria.
GODS:
Kyther - Father of the Gods, God of the Skies. His sacred animal is the Lion. Yoghoria - God of mud, dirt, and dairy. His sacred animal is the Pigu. Luna - Goddess of the Moon. Her sacred animal is the Owl. She is the younger sister of Sola. Vyrone - Goddess of Beauty and Charms. Her sacred animal is the Peacock. Terra - Goddess of the Earth. Her sacred animal is the worm. Sola - Goddess of the Sun. Her sacred animal is the Pheonix. She is the older sister of Luna. Bulga - God of Sport, also the God of Hearing. His scared animal is the Wolf. Texania: God of War and the Afterlife. His sacred animal is the Tiger. Filin - God of Fire, Forgery, and Machinery. His sacred animal is the Boar. Kin - God of Storytelling. His sacred animal is the Lynx. Mellydeus - God of Love. His sacred animal is the Swallow. Kimmia - Goddess of Water and the Sea. Her sacred animal is the Seal. Zev - God of Space and the Universe. His sacred animal is the Whale. Cylla - Goddess of Fate and Good Fortunes. Her sacred animal is the Dolphin. Oxygunous -God of Wind, and Air. His sacred animal is the Griffin. Tarla - Goddess of the Lost Souls *Her priority is to guide lost souls to the Afterlife* Her sacred animal is the Leapord. Simbola - Goddess of Symbolization. He sacred symbol is the Cross. She created letters for creatures to pronouns and speak, also the goddess of language. Pademulan - God of Children His sacred animal is the Giraffe. Dynamus - God of Explosions, Chaos, and Havoc. His sacred animal is the Buffalo. Terrabytus - God of Knowledge and Information. His sacred animal is the Ram. Yoghoria - God of Dairy. His sacred animal is the cow. Allorg - God of Balance and Order. His sacred animal is the Crocodile. Malgus - God of Evil and Cruelty. His sacred animal is the Vine Cat. Tyranus - God of Speed. His sacred animal is the Cheetah. Maltus - God of Good and Kindness. His sacred animal is the Leopard. Mirkaidryickirite - God of Combination. His sacred animal is the Chimera. .
CLASSES:
Mage: A creature that uses magic to solve problems. Is very intelligent.(Special: Arch Mage, Necromancer, Aquamancer, Pyromancer) Usually has a staff for a weapon.
Mage's Apprentice: Students of Magic. They are only beginning to learn the numerous strategies and techniques of a mage. They will continue to practice until they have learned how to properly use magic during this stage they will choose to become to use one part of magic efficently (I.E: attack magic, healing magic, enchanting magic)
Alchemist: A creature that uses potions, and items to solve problems. Very efficent at making different kind of potions. They are also called witch doctors by some people. They are usually weak though, but they are very, VERY smart. Some of them can even craft flasks that explode when they hit the ground, causing various effects.
Warrior: A strong creature, that uses strenght, and skills to defeat his enemies. Usually has a sword of some sort for a weapon.
Official: These men ride on horseback and are protected by strong armor. They try their best to keep peace and order throughout the land, almost like the modern day police officers we all know.
Scholar: Scholar's are people who have devoted their lives to studying anything that they come across. Their minds behold grand knowledge. Scholars can also be teachers, or they can be students still learning the ways of a proper education. They have a personal goal to obtain as much knowledge as possible before they die, and possibly share it with the world.
Warrior's Apprentice: Just like the Mage's Apprentice, the Warrior's Apprentice is a student, but a student of the art of strength and combat.
Rouge: A fast creature that usually uses knives and stealth to defeat enemies. He is usually clever, and fast thinking. He is very dexteric and intelligent. He is also a master at traversing dungeons, and has a knack for finding, and disarming, traps, as well as unlocking things.
Paladin: Warriors of the light, they have the power to draw from the light and use it to there advantage, they can summons weapons out of light, and even armor. They can also use the light to smother wicked beings, and heal others. (They have mediocre magic skills related to the light)
Tinkerer: they mess with/fix things and usually have better items and wepons than others. Some of them can even invent new weapons, such as pump-action crossbows, or even, if they are very skilled, and very experienced, basic firearms, such as flintlocks and muskets.
Archers: They are skilled in archery using bow and arrows, crossbows or if given to by a Tinkerer they can use flinklocks and muskets, they are usualy human, although some come from others, many of the Dedaric started useing archery very recently to
RuneCrafter:These beings are able to make new spells, although at the cost of rare minerals many huminoid races have not been able to make them in mass qunaties, although in Dedara (Dederics race homeworld) have been able to make many Spells
Conjurer: They Conjure spirits and being to help fight for them, many are dedaric and human because of their ability to learn things fast.
Windspeaker: These people can speak with the wind, they can cause windstorms with just a thought, though they don't. They always carry a staff, the staff helps in a way to control storms conjured up.
Bandit: Convicts or criminals banished from a particular kingdom. They often take shelter in the confinements of a forest, where they may hide from their pursuers. They also band together for higher chances of survival.
Pirates: Pirates usually travel on sea by a vehicle called a ship, or boat. Standard pirates use Crossbows,Curved Swords,and bows, they heaily relie on Tinkerers to make them weapons,sometimes even threatning them.

Apperance: Kat has wavvy auburn hair down to her back with matching freckles skattered about her face. Her eyes are emerald green, a highlight to her appearance. She has fair skin and a petite build, with little strength. Kat has s.cars running up and down her neck and arms from her past. She stands at 5'5" and weighs 123 pounds. She normally wears tight grass caprees and a sleeveless grass top. She always goes barefoot, for she feels more free in less clothing.
Race: Sha
Pros: Kat is very clever and agile.
Cons: Kat isn't very strong and tends to act before thinking.
History: Kat grew up in a small cottage in the woods with her family, living with them peacefully. She left them at a younger ag.e to explore and protect the land, and does exactly that. She lives in the forest, surviving off of Mother Nature herself. Kat camps out from place to place, and knows many survival techniques.

Family: Her parents are Maria and Tunin Mac'lynn, her sisters are Rogue and Tamara, and her brother is Tarn.

Apperance: Variable (see Race), but prefers the form of a red-haired human with green eyes, fair skin, and a thin build. Kalmar wears a basic brown tunic and pants, and also has a black cloak. He uses a relatively simple wooden walking staff.
Race: Changeling
Pros: Kalmar is very efficient at his craft, and is also very inteligent.
Cons: Unfortunately, Kalmar has trouble dealing with his past actions, and does not like to talk about his past. Additionaly, he can be very difficult to deal with when angered, as his windspeaking powers act up when he is angered.
History: honestly, Kalmar would rather not tell you. He won't even tell ME, and that's saying something. He has lived many different lives, with many different faces, and done just as many unthinkable deeds...
Class: windspeaker
Skills: blending in, windspeaking, deception.
I do believe that you said the pas.sword was 'force balance push' or something like that? Right after the part where you said to Fus-Ro-Dah noobs.... I hope I don't qualify. O_O'
Also, could you tell me the extent of a windspeaker's power, so I can judge my actions accordingly? Thanks.
(oh, and if you're wondering about my absurdly low post count (nil)....... Just don't worry about it. I've been around for a while, by another name. I'm fairly experienced at RPing.) |

Name: Moria Whiteheart (Pronounced More-E-a)
A.g.e: 27
Gender: Female
Apperance: Moria stands at 5'9" and weighs 125 lbs. Having a deep blue hue, her eyes are often referred to sapphires. Her hair is a crispy cinnamon brown that actually smells it's look and is often swept back, with a real blue flower (That gets often replaced as soon as it starts to wilt) holding on. Moria wears a regal blue and white dress that ends on her ankles. Covering her hands are classy white gloves extending to the elbow. Adoning her shoes are 3" blue high heals.
Race: Human
Pros: Two words: Smart and Rich. Being at the top social class, Moria has always had more then enough money for just about everything. Let it be food, clothes and most of all, school. Moria's parents had always brought in tutors to help Moria excell at every subject.
Cons: The words, "With great power comes great resposiblity" means absolutly nothing to Moria Whiteheart. She is spoiled, hell, the only reason Moria was any good at alchemy was because her tutor was able to suck it up. Also being a lady, she lacks athletic potential. Her dress and heels slow her running speed dramaticly and will even trip her if she tries too hard.
History: Moria Whiteheart was born to a powerful family and like so, she was treated with high respect (Although some would fake it). She had a lavish lifestyle filled with whatever she wanted. She reached the age of 26 when she was finnally kicked out of the family when she denied an arranged marrage with a man she obviously did not love. She has used her impressive alchemy skill to make potions of all sorts, ranging from healing to charm, even a death poision. She was finnally able to pursuade (With help from a charm spell of course) her family to give her a house right above an alchemy shop which she now owns to this date.
Class: Alchemist
Skills: Making potions and poisions.
Family: Moria's father is named Victor Whiteheart, Her mother named Rosaline Whiteheart (Rosaline's madain name is Angeline) And lastly her brother is named Joshua Whiteheart. |
