1 and a half hours in, 100k objects scanned, still hasn't settled on a "time remaining"
So I checked to see the current object it was scanning.

| It actually took me a few hours for my scan to finish so I tried seeing what was taking up so much memory and I found another hidden collection of Rbx files(no not appdata) There were 300K+ of them and my labtop froze whenever I tried deleting all of them D: |

well it actually crashed malwarebytes so let's try deleting stuff
@Local:
how likely is this to render the entire computer unresponsive
because if I turn it off and on again the rogue virus comes back, somehow
I think there's 200k files in RbxLogs alone |

What virus scan program are you using??? I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials and McAfee too (Which fails by the way....Removes random stuff without you knowing and blocks random stuff)
Right now I'm going to do a Full scan with MSE. Let's see how long it takes. |

MSE is good. I remember when I got a Virus from somewhere and it kept telling me to open a file and i kept saying no and then it kept saying: "u nob plz press open" and then I said no and then it kept saying: "u nob plz press open" and you get the point.
So i ran MSE and never saw that popup again! |

| I don't use anti-virus software; I don't get viruses. In the sad event that I do, and it messes up the core of my operating system, I can recover everything with Windows PE. Also, for a light scan, *NOT* live protection, run MRT.EXE. |

I use Avast and MSE... and the occasional home-brew application. Avast catches embedded malware (probably why pirates use it(namesake for avast?)) MSE catches everything .. _everything_ on the system, because nobody knows Windows like Microsoft.
Homebrew apps for everything else/maintenance tasks or /prog/ramming practice. |

@sdf
I've never been on FB in my life, I hate Mark Zuckerberg's guts. Also, with clicking links - I use Google Chrome, not Internet Explorer 6. |
