OKAY! This game tasks you as a entrepreneur who seemed to get a bright idea with selling stuff on carts.
START: You start out with a bird's eye view of a little town, which we'll simply call your 'neighborhood'. In your neighborhood, there is at the beginning three red pulsating spheres called venues, a place which you will be able to put your cart and sell. After you selected one of the venues, you're now able to choose from 3 different carts-
The Hotdog Cart, The Juice Cart, and lastly the Icecream Cart.
GAMEPLAY: After picking one, you'll be able to "Get Physical" and sell these products yourself. This is where the game will play somewhat like those Dash games. The game sets in first person inside the cart, while the customers line up, showing want they want through speech bubbles on their head(if you fail to serve their food quickly they'll leave and you'll lose a customer). Simply reach your customer quota for the day and there would be a 10 min. cooldown for that venue before you would be able to "Get Physical" again! Be quick with serving your customers and you get to fill your satisfaction bar, and the more it fills, the more customers you should be expecting on the next "Get Physical"!
Now, You'll be able to serve them by preparing the food, which you can do by taking one from a designated 'food' generator, for ex. the Hotdog, which comes with the seasoning & spices generator, which you apply yourself by simply tapping the hotdog after you've tapped the selected seasoning. At the beginning you'll have limited choices, but then you can go and upgrade your cart!
UPGRADING CARTS: Even though you already choose what your food generator will be, doesn't mean you're stuck with that only kind of food. Each cart has parts that you can switch for better ones- the chassis, the handlebars, and the umbrella, with optional parts used to upgrade those ones too, like glass containers, different food generators (if your cart's chassis allows for more than one type of generator!) and different spice generator (again, same with the previous comment). Each cart has durability though, so be sure to do maintenance on it once in a while, or you might lose! You can also change the aesthetics of the cart, and doing so will also fill the satisfaction meter, so be fashionable, folks!
Each part you buy can be bought more than once, because of this reason:
FRANCHISING!:
Venues are scattered all over your town, each with their own(differently sized) satisfaction meters and different difficulties and PRICE. Once a venue is bought, you can insert another cart that you assembled and if you reach two venues, you would be able to hire another seller. You'll also be able to boost ALL of your venues popularity by placing posters on bulletin boards, walls, and maybe putting an advertisement on the web and if you get rich enough, TV! (This also boosts venue difficulty, btw) (You can do this by selecting BLUE pulsating spheres on the birds eye view, and the advertising areas would zoom in and give you a menu of letting you post posters/advertise and stuff) Watch out though, since posting an advertisement on the internet is the least effective, the TV commercial is wide spread but only for a very short time, and posters is medium spread and would pit you against other geniuses that thought of the same business idea as you, only more deviously! (meaning they might take your poster down/replace it with theirs)
The more venues you fill the satisfaction meter, the more venues unlock in your neighborhood! Once you completed all the venues, congrats! You've completed the tycoon!
SELLERS: Sellers are sort of AIs which do your work for you, lazy bum. There are different kinds of sellers, each with their own different pay. You'll be able to check their resume to see what is their customer satisfaction rate (what's their ratio of successful servings/ failed servings) since this would also affect your business if you manage to hire a sloppy seller! |

Sounds boring.
Id improve it by making the carts be moveable, like "ice cream truck" or something like that.
You would need to find spots with many people (make citizens like zombies walking around the city). You would also need to make sure the customers come to YOU, not another players stand. You could do this by upgrading your carts appereance, or buying advertizing space or something.
Optionally even buying some space from the town, and anyone else who comes near will get the police after them and theyll have to pay the cop and leave.
You would also have a home in the city which you can upgrade. You buy your goods from a factory at the start, but later you could make your own factory and upgrade that too. |

@Radioaktiivinen
Messages in quotes are things I respond to. Messages NOT in quotes are my replies.
"You need to make sure the customers come to YOU, not another player's stand"
EVERY PLAYER HAS THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD.
"You could do this by upgrading your carts appearance or buying advertizing space or something"
Aren't those already touched upon? I said those already.
"Optionally buying some space from the town"
That's the whole venue system.
"You would also have a home in the city which you can upgrade."
I thought of that at first, but then I felt the combination of your own assembled carts AND their own respected venues seem to be a much better idea to me.
"You buy your goods from a factory at the start, but later you could make your own factory and upgrade that too."
I really want it to have a much more manual feeling then the rest, like it's you actually doing work rather than micromanaging the procedure, the sellers are only some AIs that could help take SOME of the heat off of you. |

"Make the carts movable." Can't do, having carts movable would prove the complete erasure of the venues concept, many controllable carts are just too hard to manage, plus it loses it's 'expanding territory' feeling I want it to give. |

Hey, I didn't say zombies weren't in. Maybe if you buy venues near graveyards! |

No i meant citizens which are like zombies, not actual zombies >.>
Would the tycoon work fi you could expand so much that you start buying big markets instead of carts, and have to get the right products and enough of them, but so that theres not too much (so you have to throw away) and not too little (so angry customers come kill you) |

| I believe that it would be too drastic of a change, there wouldn't be much consistency. |

@Quenty Well, it's kinda hard to make a tycoon interesting, but I kinda wanted people to prepare their own food and such(Like Cake Mania) if you haven't played that game, find vids on youtube. |

| Have it so sometimes your ice cream is spiked and a guy dies and throws up and all the customers scream and run away? Then I'd love it. |
