Have any of you ever felt stupid when it comes to a problem? You try all of these complicated patterns and ideas, yet someone else figures it out in a very simple and obvious way. It is very frustrating for me.
In my perspective: Whenever I am looking for an object in the fridge, the object will usually be right in front of me. I look to the sides, above, below, and even behind the object, but I won't see it until someone else does. My thinking is the exact same way. I never think about the obvious solutions. I curve my thoughts to the harder and more complicated ways.
The odd thing about my problem-solving skills is that my perspective of things is almost never simple. I'll write down two paragraphs of what someone can say in two sentences, and I would have never thought of it that way. Whenever I'm trying to figure something out, I always curve out my thinking instead of thinking straight ahead. Which is why I am terrible at riddles. :P
How many of you are the same way? |

"I'll write down two paragraphs of what someone can say in two sentences, and I would have never thought of it that way."
That actually sounds very useful for writing. |

@Astro
Same thing here. I am horrible with jokes unless I make myself look dumb while making one.
One more thing: A huge problem with AS is that I/we tend to feel awkward and confused 90% of the time in public. |

@Astro
A very curious thing is that in middle school, especially 6th grade, I was EXTREMELY friendly and gullible. I wish I could take back so many things, but I can't.
Today, oddly, it appears as though I have two personalities. I can be very carefree and joke a lot and make myself look like a very naive person. My other one is humorless, all serious, and yet laid back unless provoked. Then it is determined to eliminate the problem.

| I have trouble starting a conversation with people I don't know, but I talk A LOT with people I do know, the only time people talk to me or BEGIN to talk to me it when I like their status on facebook, or when somebody or me need help with something. |

@Quazola
I said goodnight, but I want to correct you on something.
Aspergers is very real. It's a brain disorder that happens from birth. If you're here to troll, fine. If not, then do your research. |

You had inches of respect for me? wtf
Anyway, I was diagnosed with aspergers by my school principal, yeah. PRINCIPAL.
And also, your loss of respect for me won't change my opinion. I'm sticking t it, and you have to atleast respect that. |
