| HostGator is pretty awesome. Has cPanel and everything you need to host a decent site. If you're looking for free, and don't use JavaScript, try x10 Hosting. |

| NoPayHost. The free hosting package was just cancelled because some idiots decided to abuse it and mess with the server, but there's still a Post to Host package, which is technically still free c: |

If you go to the Post to Host package it says there is no package available. |

| Using other hosts is expensive, and free ones are crappy and limited. Hosting your own server is even worse. |

We actually use MediaTemple. It's one of the best I've seen as far as shared hosting goes, they'll just give you a virtual Linux box, 512mb of RAM, and I don't even know how much disk space.
I think it's like $20 a month? |

| Or you can have someone just download and open the HTML file, if you're cheap :> |

I use 000webhost because x10 hosting is untrusted, im too lazy to figure it oat, and 000webuost may be a scam but it works for me.

| 000webhost has easy to meet things to keep your site up. x10 you have to post on their forums like once a month, and I'd forget to and have my account terminated. |

x10hosting is nice. They don't require you to post on their forum every month. -_-. They require you to log into it once every month.
And they send reminders before you're terminated... And afterwards you can get it reactivated... |

000webhost AUTOMATICALLY terminates your account WITHOUT a reminder if less than 10 different people visit your site. Plus, in their ToS, it says that "000webhost has full authority to remove a website hosted under their servers without a given reason."
Seriously, they have a blog just to post good things about them! And to make matters worse, your P@$$W0RD IS DISPLAYED IN CLEAR TEXT ON THE ACCOUNT DETAILS PAGE! WTF!! And they have a 2mb file upload limit. Kiss your one-page PHP CMS goodbye.
Oh yeah, and about 200 people filed a complaint with the FBI online fraud division.
Google search for "000webhost scam": about 335,000 results There's even a blog called 000webhost-scam at blogspot.
Google search for "x10hosting scam": about 62,000 results And most of them are forum posts about malicious/scam sites running on x10's servers.
Mhm, 000webhost is better. Yeah, right. |

@Tech
You can bypass the upload limit by creating new files and using those.
