| I hate to sound like a broken record~but like I've said time and time again, it's all about what atmosphere you're trying to create. The first thing I think of when I think of airports, or tourism in general, is vacation, and just how excited I am to have one. That's why I'm suggesting light-hearted things. It helps to make everything seem unified. |

Kension19... Your previous post was actually very good, and clearly well thought out, not to mention completely relevant.
My hat is off you you, good sir.
As for on-topic.
I find that many ariports (Well, the one I normally go to in Toronto [Canada]), is has an almost art-look to it, odd angles that look very nice and almost 'fasionable', with cool colours. It also has many art pieces and statues around, for added effect.
So it really depends on if you want this to look like an international airport (Normally MASSIVE, Toronto has over 20 sections each with 2+ departure areas), or national one (Not as big). |

| Make a secret door in a luggage room that leads to an underground volcano observatory that is about to explode and burn the airport. :D |

5 different desks and check points you need to go to to get in a plane.
Try to place them in random locations so that its as complex as possible. |

Fat British tourists.
MAY I SAY that I'm British, myself >.>
Seriously though, when I think of an airport, I do see a lot of tourists sleeping on benches or in sleeping bags on the floor in the front lobby, so that would be a nice touch xD. Don't forget the luggage escalator :D |

| To be fair, a larger percent of us are fatter than Americans, just less of us to be fat, so... Yeah... |
