The story of it is about a legend of an all-powerful dragon becoming corrupted and was soon faced by a nameless hero. Once the threat was gone, the hero was never found again. Then the game starts out as a guy waking up in a field of overgrown plantlife, choking the ancient ruins of a once mighty temple. As the man tries to recover from his deep slumber, the world turns dark and a small little light flashes in the distance, he followed it through the stairs, until they reach the top. There, he saw a rusty sword imbedded in a stone slab. The light began to speak. "The legend tells that the hero will again awaken once the balance has been tipped, he will take this ancient sword and turn it into a blade capable of becoming a formidable foe against the fiends that he will face. Tell me, what is your name? Are you the hero spoken of in the tales of man's ancestors?" The man pondered- the came to a conclusion. It was a shocking fact. But the memories- they were not present. But not as if they were withheld- no. It was as if, they were never there. After the introduction of the guardian of the forest- Lylia and his renaming by her, the man- now called Shabir, explores the great land of Incrypta, to delve deeper into the lore that is the battle of the dragon and himself. He was able to find the information he yearned at the minds of the wisest people of different tribes, with instructions on how to get into temples to further his knowledge. Yet as he saw the true events unfold, another shocking twist was learned.
He had died from the battle.
He lost to the dragon.
Yet how did he win?
The question would not be answered quite soon though- as the dragon begins it's attack. It sent its previous companions, the guardians of the four pillars of light, now transformed and corrupted by his powers. As he defeated each one of them, he was able to expel the darkness from within them. They called him a name he never knew- yet very familiar. It was not the previous iteration, for that would be Ak'nul. Then it was explained to him, it was the name of the dragon that is trying to conquer the land, Nervas. After the attack, he then fled, hearing the news of a temple that would be able to answer your questions. Shabir was able to reach the temple of enlightenment, and from there he saw the continuation against his battle with Nervas.
After his corpse lay dead on the floor, Nervas was able to break free from the corruption, albeit temporarily. With the power that he was able to release, he split himself- to weaken the dark portion of his soul. He transported the light portion of his soul into the dead form of Ak'nul- reviving him to a state of deep slumber- knowing that his soul will always be connected, and when the evil portion will finally awaken, so will he.
GAMEPLAY: The exploration is mostly inspired by Zelda and Castlevania. Each Temple would have different areas put into it- with it's own different puzzles and optional items which could grant new areas inside each of them. The fighting system is quite a new contender, however, since it takes the form of what I would call the "Style" system- no, not a system that would just scores depending on your attack!- Something different. Each Style is a presentation of a different gamestyle able to applied to every weapon in the game.
Ex. The Style of Bull are slow, powerful attacks that could easily stun the enemies
The Style of the Grasshopper are weak attacks, but slowly increase in damage the longer you keep your combo
The Style of the Monkey is being able to quickly shift from one target to another in one combo
The Style of the Cobra would be a very accurate attack pattern, having a relatively small range but will never miss.
Three of these styles could be equipped and switched by simply toggling with the Q and E buttons, and to execute them simply press the left mouse button. The controls vary differently between the styles also, seeing that the Style of the Monkey would cancel your attack animation of you inform a new attack command/ the Style of the bull would make you lose control of your direction and simply move toward the direction your character's facing.
There is no ordinary lvl up system either- you cannot lvl up you character, only change and increase your mastery in skills- or weld gems into your weapons, upgrading it. |

Bump-wait why should I bump this? Oh yeah, this isn't a game I really could make- I'm no scripter.. or builder.. Guess I'm only good with ideas, heh. |

I know how to make a single player game on Roblox where you only see your own character ;)
I'm a pro scripter.
Yeah. :> |

Whoah, that's awesome. I'm guessing it has to do with local parts? So.. all we need now is a pro builder! :D |

| After we get one, I'll start working on the character concepts- how we could recreate them in roblox. Expect alot of moving parts. |

Okay then, and a way to stop lag is that anything that never moves should be in the server, and anything that moves or is a 'Character' will be local.
Yeah. :> |

Sweet. Hey, did you know this idea actually went through several iterations- each with it's own story and style? The first incrypta had people just pretending to be playing around in a virtual sandbox, with lots of goodies so that they could roleplay. The second incrypta idea actually made it through 20%. It was a 4 player action RPG, with another different kind of system, the "Dynamic Evolution" system- meaning you're character will improve to compensate for your style- dodging could increase your speed, while defensing could increase your health, more timed attacks increases your accuracy, while mashing the attack buttons(- Yes, buttons, you could actually pull off moves in the engine we built, plus lock on enemies!-) increases your power! It revolved alot more teamwork, seeing that staying with eachother would allow you to 'share' your stats, and leaving the part would severely cut your maximum stats in half. |

O lol.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention another feature of the second incrypta: It actually has a game-changing decision half-way through the game. Depending on your actions you would have an entire set of new characters. Srsly. |

Pretty good idea. Though you should broaden the options so people will come back again and again and have an entirely new experience.
Still, pretty epic idea.
