| In one part of luke it says "And engage not in idle chatter, for that is the work fo the devil." Something along those lines. Translation: Shut up and accept this |

| Luigi, no it doesn't. Atheism isn't a religion, so only the people not the belief can promote brainwashing. |

| Bluey, Christians raise their children as Christians, raising them with their beliefs. That in itself is brainwashing. Man did not rise up from the mud to fall back on his knees in the dirt. |

True, but Atheism promotes spreading it around. It isn't the "I won't believe" and "You will" type of conversation.
I've seen some very nasty riots. |

Atheism promotes the abscence in the belief of a creator. That's all.
You mean like the crusades? |

I am Christian, but not one of the "Shoveitinyourface" Christians.
A large majority of the Christian kids grow up to be Athiests or agnostics anyway. Only parents who have a strict rule over their kids have enough leeway to somewhat force christianity on the kids. It has absolutely nothing to do with the religon, only the family.
tl;dr: Parent's fault, not religon's. |
