Well I decided to start working on an RPG, however it's not ones like in front page. In this one you have to work as a team. It's a bit based on the games of Monster Hunter series for PSP.
Here's the story line: The local village is often attacked by large number of monsters, some weak and some strong. To help the village, Skullduggery Hunters were founded. You are a new recruit of Skullduggery Hunters and you're job is to defend the village anytime, anywhere. Find the nests and destroy them, but beware... The dead might come alive.
The game will be based on 2 rounds, the first one where there'll be monsters spawning from 10-15 monster nests, to stop this you have to destroy the nests. The nests will have from 5-8 eggs and each egg has 1k Health. When you destroy all the eggs of a nest, that nest is considered destroyed. If you just kill monsters and not destroy the nests that will cause more zombies to spawn in the second round. For each monster you kill there'll be a zombie that has 10x the power of that monster. For each 10 zombies there'll be a giant and for each 25 giants, there'll be a dragon. Giants will basically be zombies but at a stronger form. The dragons will be like the boss of the game. They will have around 100k Health and generate 1k every 5 minutes. To defeat dragons you will need a special type of sword called "Scale Sword". This sword is made out of wyvern scales which are sharpened and polished, these are the only swords that will damage a dragon.
You'll be able to "craft" your swords, there'll be a blacksmith in the town that will make you weapons, but you'll have to get him the items needed and an extra fee. When you quit the game, it will save your all your status, items and weapons.
Any ideas are welcome :), I'm currently working on the spawning system of the monsters, once I'm done I'll be making some monsters and then to work on the map. After I'll work on the GUI's and tools. |

Pets, items, crafting. Houses, Gandalf.
Bigger max health every level?

Oh yeah thanks for reminding me, there'll also be a shop where you can buy "Comrades", these guys are pet-like mobs that will help you fighting the monsters, each of them will have different abilities, you can have up to 3 of these at same time and you can store up to 10 in your house.
There'll also be armor in this game that will be crafted the same way of the weapons. |

Make a place where the round is played. Then you can teleport to the battle field. There is a another wealthy village. That village is in a group called the "Natoonik" meaning "defenders of life."
So the village being attacked is in the same group. You can go to the not attacked village and craft and stuff. You can also buy things.
Make sense? Can't sell stuff at a destroyed village :l. |

| I was thinking of quests but then I realized that the game itself is a quest. I might think of adding real quests in the future though. Thanks for the ideas guys :D |

Have an extra optional quest where you travel deep in a maze fighting the remains of the undead, such as...
1st level of labyrinth - roaches 2nd - Skeletons 3rd - A new kind of zombie, not the old classic type 4th - Giant snake thing that slithers through labyrinth 5th - An enchanted sorcerer who made all these things become magical. |
