EVERYTHING on the internet is blocked. It doesn't let you go on any websites that involve chatting in anyway, or leaving comments. One time I needed to go on these websites, for a school project, turns out it was blocked because you could thumbs up and leave a comment.
My school doesn't even block command prompt, control panel, NOTHING. I tried using a proxy, it STILL didn't work. Batch files to do this for me, NOTHING at all. They don't even have an admin account! |

| They probably configured their router to block the site. |

They pulled the internet cable off. I.E. you don't have internet.
Another way, is to just scan all the incoming content. And block what they don't like.
It's a love-hate relationship.... |

| Is there -any- way to bypass this, because I don't want to take a zero. My parents are already mad at me for failing an art lesson. olololol |

| I don't like drawing about how I feel about classical music. I was doing my science work while the music was playing. Turns out I didn't have a day to work on the art, it was due at the end of class. |

"ubuntu 11.10 live cd" that probably won't work, since blocking is normally done at the central school internet provider, but it will get by any local blocking installed on Windows.
You can always set up a proxy at home and connect to it, that would have to work. |

My school does that as well, but not nearly to that point.
At my school all I have to do is use https, and it bypasses the filter. .-.

@Scarfacial, Oh, same for me. But it doesn't load videos.. Kinda useless since not a lot of websites are secure ones. :) |

You do realize there's no wrong answer. You could draw a UFO and pass. |

My school just "disabled" command prompt. They are nobs, nobody even knows HTML. You can just make a batch file and it will run. Nothing is block, the teacher(s) will stare from screen to screen hoping to be able to get you in trouble. On a "controlling" computer that controls 4 other computers, I used taskkill -f -pid explorer.exe on my account and now I can't log in on those four computers. Good for avoiding Social Studies homework. If your school knows enough on how to configure their router to avoid everything they don't like, and the only reason that you want to get past it is because you missed a homework assignment, then I don't see the point. You MIGHT win, or you might lose and get expelled.

| @Booing, Same here. I just want to do that and see what my computer class teacher says. He doesn't know that much about the computers it seems. So, it would be like "Hey teacher man, these computers stopped working..." |

If you live in the U.S., most schools use Novell by ZenWorks. Easiest program to by-pass. EVER. Using C#, it is possible to "unlock" your desktop, giving you full control personalization wise; using nothing but [DllImportAttribute("user32.dll")] and some code afterwords.
My School fears me. |

@KingBoo: Why would you want to do that do you even think? Who would do that, they block the stuff clearly do to the district rules. They have to follow the district rules, not your school's fault. Second you would end up in much trouble and why are you even telling us this if it's such a big deal go home use your computer for the rest of your project. |
