And I was wondering what seemed coolest and most interesting to ya'll.
- An Ancient Egyptian roleplay, maybe has magic? It would motivate you to think about clothing, different names.
- A roleplay about a presence called the Shadow. Wherever it goes, it causes fear and chaos. A few different people are able to 'dream' themselves into the Shadow realm, and stop the Shadow.
- A roleplay about 2 different alternate dimensions: one with magic and one with technology and science. Perhaps one is in danger, and if it dies, so does the other one.

I believe the term you mean to say is "Universe".
A dimension is the idea of space devided within space.
The latin roots for Universe are "Unus" and "Verse", meaning one version.

On another note, I really liked the Egyption idea. Aim for that.

@brown
Nah, lets leave them out of this.
An ancient race of egyptians called the "[name here]" are resurrected by a necromancer named [name]. His idea is to overthrow mankind, and bring them back to the days of the egyptians, and enslave the world. |

Egyptians' POV:
100 BCE, durring the reign of Caesar, the Egyptians begin to find strange artifacts burried deep under the sand. These great relics have great and mysterious abilities, and instantly begin a war.
On the west side of the Nile, you have all the believers in death and followers of Osiris. They are the ones who began the war. They are very well organized, and have most of the artifacts in a large pile withing a tomb. Their leader is insane, and very war-driven, but is also very patient and intelligent.
On the east side of the Nile, you have the other army(which consists of 12 men), a couple of leader-less towns, and a government that is fallen apart. Everyday people are killed for their relics, which not only dwindles the amount of men, but also spreads about the artifacts and makes them hard to find. The east will surely die.
You are one of the men of the east. A soldier or peasant. (Egyptians didn't actually have slaves, so don't ask about that.) You will either survive this war, or perish with the rest of your people.
Modern man's POV:
In the 27th century, a time machine is accidentally invented. Attempting to destroy this devestating device, the whole city is accidentally sent back to the prehistoric ages.
After many years, all the humans die out, and the city withers away, but the technology survives. Hidden under the sand is a vault filled with the most advanced tech around. Millions of years later, it will be found by the Egyptian civilization. Rusted and broken, it will just look like another stone, and will be brought to a construction site West of the Nile to be put into a pyrimid, where the door will crumble apart, causing all the technology to fall on the Eastern side's leader and begin a war.
One side in ruins, and the other focused on war, no one bothers to document this event, which is why thousands of years in the future, modern day, no one knows of it. |
