the NFL site is discussing this, so i thought i would too
packers, easily, and not just because i'm a fan
the saints look awesome on offence, but only because they're facing lame defences (colts, jaguars, panthers, giants, bucs, falcons) they should be a 10-1 team, but they lost to the bucs and the rams, which is terrible the saints are ranked 25th on defence, and 21st in points allowed
the packers on the other hand have also faced some lame defences (panthers, broncos, vikings, falcons, bucs) but there is no indication that you can slow down aaron rodgers and that offence the big knock on the packers is their defence, who have the second worst pass defence, and third worst overall defence, but they make up for it by being 14th in points allowed, and first in interceptions |

Barely beat the saints but im not making excuses.
We'll get em in the playoffs.
Packers get the edge in defence.
Saints get the edge in rushing.
I don't know who gets the edge in offence though.

If at Green Bay, Packers. If at New Orleans, Saints.
I am certain. |

| The Saints split a game with the Bucs every year, mainly because theyre division rivals. Not too much shame in that. The Rams game is inexcusable though. I think if given a 2nd opportunity, the Saints would win in a tight game. If Drew Brees and the offense plays well, we generally win our games. In most losses Drew Brees throws multiple picks, no matter how well the defense plays. I personally think the game could go either way, but the Saints wont go down without a fight. If they meet again in the playoffs, Im saying the Saints would pull it out. |

Saints haven't won an outside game YET.
They had a chance to beat the packers imo.

| Ummm just saying, week 17 2009 they had nothing to play for. They pulled starters. They had 1st place locked up and a bye, why did they need to try? |

| Alex: He is saying even though they played a 'bad' game, they arent a bad team. He's saying theyre a good team. Get it? And maybe the Lions will play better at the end of the season, they have em 1 more time. |

| All Im saying is that when a team pulls some of their starters, including Drew Brees, you cant expect them to win. That is all. |

@dor and spek
ok I know the lions really well. here it is. Lions are cabable of being a good team. trust me they are. But in the last 5 games, I have seen the past Lions. Why? because of injuries and all of that. And stafford has had to put on two gloves on his hands when being qb becuse he has a broken fingure. it has been a huge momentem changer. So if you think that Green Bay played a Detroit Lions team that was good at the time, think again. again, they are cabable of being good, but it the last 5, nono. now if you want to pretend that GB played a good lions team, then by all means... have fun with that |

| Now lions should be back to being good when they play Green Bay next, so we will see how that turns out |
