Has anyone noticed any changes in properties or function ability with the insert services lately? It seems i am unable to insert another users model into my games now.
Yes the users model is for the public and yes it worked before. But just recently it tells me in the output that the users model is not a trusted model. Whats up with that? Theres nothing wrong with the user... |

There were a few changes to it. Add it to your inventory then.

| With uses in plugins - does that mean if other players use your plugin that insides one of your models, it will not longer work? That would mean a big overhaul of a lot of existing plugins. |

Well I put these models on a seperate account so other users couldnt find my models and use them in their games. Putting them in my models will allow users to take them and use them. |

But having such anomalies where you are inserting stuff on something that you don't have will cause issues. Can't you have it as a non-free model under your account and call InsertService on it, if you are worried that others will take it of course.

| @Lando, The updates made it so that you can only insert items that the owner of the place owns into the game. |

Well tell me this. Last time I checked, even if i owned an item that wasnt open to the public I was not able to insert that model. Has that changed? Is it possible for you to insert your own models even if they are not open to the public now? |

| @Lando, It might be that you can only insert models that aren't free into your own place. I'm not sure, I haven't done any testing with it. |

| That would be a really nice if you could insert your own models that are not free to the public. But i dont think it works that way. Is that a possible funtion update for roblox, sorcus? |

I believe that's how it works currently. I am able to insert my models that aren't free into my place.

| And can you use ApproveAssetId() to allow the game to insert other people's specific models... or is that for something else? |

It sucks because it makes sense? Just because you were used to something doesn't make it right?
